"Oh my god!" You shout as Peter lands in front of you.
"Woah y/n, sorry I didn't see you there" he panicked as you calmed down. "Uh are you ready to head back?" He questioned as you swung your bag back over your shoulder and lead the way to your hotel.
When you returned you found the whole class gathering around Mr Harrington in the lobby. The students were decked out in glow sticks with faces filled with excitement.
"Good news we're going to the opera!" Harrington cheers as the classes excitement turns to complaints.
"Don't look at me" Mr Dell raises his hands in defence of the young teens.
"What happened to the carnival? MJ asks with crossed arms as you stand next to her.
"Well this is upgrade living guys" You looked to Peter to know what was happening just as he was nodding worriedly at Ned to go along with it. "Come on! The tour company just gave us these tickets for free, do you have any idea how much opera tickets cost?" Harrington continued.
"No because none of us have ever wanted to go to the opera, ever" Flash speaks up from the back.
"Uh well I think this is going to be culturally enriching for us" Ned steps in, trying to convince the class as Peter gives you a shrug.
"Thank you Ned" Mr Harrington points at the boy. "Everyone this is going to be maybe the best four hours of our whole trip"
"Four hours?" the class gasps.
"Guys I think this is going to be really fun" Ned cheers with fake excitement and clear worry for the events about to happen. And with that you all got up to get changed for the opera. You changed into a nice outfit you had packed and made sure you had all your gear and equipment in your bag before you left the hotel with your class.
"Hey are you ready for the opera?" Peter asked as you waited for the rest of the class.
"Yeah, I was so excited for the best four hours of the trip, unfortunately I'll be spending my time helping you, Mr Spider-Man" you nudge the nervous boy with a laugh.
"I bet now your all happy that I had you pack a nice outfit" Mr Harrington called as you all walked through the streets of cheer.
"Yeah because we'd much rather go to a four hour opera instead of the biggest party in the world" Flash complained pointing towards the crowded streets.
"Again don't look at me" Mr Dell said.
"Parker, Fitzsimmons do you copy?" Hill asked causing you and Peter to look at each other while walking with the group. "Comm check one two" she continued.
"Fitzsimmons I copy" you reply into the communication device.
"Oh uh Parker I copy" Peter stuttered making you laugh before he shot you a playful glare.
"Okay here we are!" Harrington cheered as you entered the almost empty auditorium filled with only a few older people. "Lucky for us we got the best seats in the house" Harrington smiled proudly leading the way to the front row.
"Hey I'll save you a seat" Brad tells you as the class walks down following the teacher.
"You look really pretty" Peter steps up next to you.

"Thanks but we have to go get changed now" you tell him about to leave the auditorium when he grabs you arm.
"Y/n I don't think it's a good idea for you to be out there, you need to stay far away from this" he warns with genuine worry in his eyes.
"Oh come on Pete, I've been trained for this, I'll hide out with Fury and Hill in a safe place"
"Oh my gosh opera glasses!" Betty squeals behind you two, Pulling your attention away from the disagreement.
"So Cute!" Ned comments.
"Are you in position?" Fury asks through coms.
"No" Peter tells him.
"Why the hell not?" Fury questions.
"Just please stay here with Ned and the class" Peter begs, with a sigh you give in and take your seat. You know that if Peter thinks any of his friends are in danger that he will mess up the mission, so you do as he asks.
"Parker!" Fury shouts again.
"I'm coming I'm coming" Peter sighs watching you walk away. "Hey I gotta go" he tells Ned.
"Okay, be careful and Peter whatever you do please steer the monster away from the opera house" Ned begs.
"Yeah Ned I know" he tells his friend. Peter is just about to leave when he turns back to look at you one last time. But instead he sees as Brad flips him the middle finger and takes the seat next to you making Peter jealous.
"Parker you better be on your way!" Fury shouts as Peter was about to storm back in.
"Coming" Peter sighs as he turns and walks out.
Once you hear the coms quiet down you look back to find Peter has already left. This was your moment to head out just as the lights turned down. You stood up from your seat and made your way outside to meet up with Fury and Hill.
"Nice of you to finally show up" Fury tells you with sarcasm lacing his voice.
"Sorry sir I had something to take care of" you lied knowing you only had to wait for Peter to leave.
"Well we have something bigger to take care of" Fury said before getting back in the car.
"Alright I'm in position uh as soon as I see something Beck, I'll uh I'll let you know" Peter said as the fireworks began while he was perched on the tower.
"Copy that"
"How's the new suit?" Fury asked the boy while you waited.
"Uh the suits great"
"Energy spiking and seismic activity" you tell them from the backseat of the car as you are watching the monster on your computer.
The ground around a statue starts to crack as lava spills up through it absorbing the metal.
"Okay he's here! Beck are you ready? you know what to do" Peter warned through coms as the elemental burst up from the ground. People ran away in terror as Beck flew in.
"On your lead Spider-Man" Beck flys down to the scene. "Your up kid!" Beck calls out as he lands ready to attack. Peter swings in and shoots his webs to a fire hydrant. As Beck pushes the elemental back Peter pulls the hydrant spraying it with water.
It punches at Peter but he jumps away just in time landing on a carousel. But the monster doesn't give up as it swings again this time absorbing the carousel as Peter jumps away.

"No! Beck he's got the carousel, he's getting bigger!" Peter panics looking up at the monster growing.
"Night monkey!" Peter hears two people calling. As he turns around he is faced with his nightmare, his best friend and a classmate are in the danger zone.
"Ned? Betty?" He questions with panic at the sight.
"What?" You ask immediately through coms.
"Y/n? Aren't you supposed to be at the opera?" Peter asks hearing your voice.
"The opera?" Fury questions.
"Peter, are Betty and Ned in danger?" You ask with worry for your friends.
