Wala akong choice kung hindi ang pakasalan si Matheo. Sigurado ako na hindi na papayag si Sebastian Zaragosa na kay Theodore ako magpakasal lalo at may nangyari na sa amin ni Matheo. Pinapunta ako ng matandang Zaragosa sa rancho nila kaya naman nandito ako ngayon.

Pagbaba pa lang ng sasakyan ay nakita ko na si Matheo na sasalubungin ako.

"Katulad ng inaasahan ko. You came fast huh.."

My forehead frown.

What do he mean by that?

I was about to ask him when a woman looking prim and proper came out of their Villa. She is somehow familiar.

Napataas ang kilay ko sa suot niya. Uso pa pala ang turtle neck sa tag-araw tapos ay long sleeve pa. Her skirt is so haba lagpas na sa knees niya. Geezz..I won't wear her outfit.

Kasunod na lumabas noong babae si Theodore. I smiled at him and he gave me a curt nod. Nakausap ko na siya at kahit paano ay ayos na kami.

My attention turned to the woman. Lumapit kasi siya kay Matheo. By the glitter in her eyes I know she had hots for him.

Lalong umangat ang kilay ko sa ginawa niya. She tiptoed and gave Matheo a smack on his lips.

"See you again Matheo.."she smile demurely.

What an eye-sore. Huh! I know the likes of her. Malandi na nagtatago sa mahabang palda. So far hindi pa ako nagkakamali sa judgement ko.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Matheo. He looks so casual being kissed by that manang manamit but deep inside malandi. Ang kapal ng mukha niya samantalang siya itong gusto na siya ang pakasalan ko!

"What a lame kiss.."I said in a mocking tone. Ang pinatutungkulan ko ay si manang.

Nangungunot ang noo na napatingin sa akin si manang na tila noon lang ako nakita. She looked at me the way I looked at her like she know me? There were a glint of embarrassment that was carefully covered with a fake innocence in her eyes.

Lumakad ako palapit sa kanila. I sway my hips sexily and when I reach them,I grabbed Matheo's shirt and pull him near me. Napasinghap si manang sa ginawa ko. Magkalapit na ang mukha namin at kaunting hila pa ay maglalapat na ang labi namin. Matheo's eyes turned a shade darker maybe on anticipation and that's the cue I wait to slightly push him away.

"What the.."

I smirked at Matheo and turned to Theodore. Without a word,I hooked my arms on Theodore's neck and gave him a kiss. A torrid kiss in front of Matheo and manang. Theodore looked so shock by the way his mouth part and not kissing me back. I heard manang's gasp and Matheo's curse.

"..hell."

After a few seconds ay tumigil na ako sa paghalik kay Theodore. I bitchily faced manang.

"Much better.."nakangisi kong wika dito.

"What was that for.."Theodore asked.

"Just lecturing this prudish."kaswal akong nagkibit balikat.

Pagbaling ko ng tingin kay Matheo ay nagliliyab na sa galit ang mata niya. Malalaki ang hakbang niya na lumapit sa akin. He grabbed my arms and drag me away from Theodore and manang who called Matheo but he did not pay attention.

Iniwaksi ko ang kamay niya na mahigpit na nakahawak sa braso ko. Inikot ko ang mata ko sa paligid. I found us in the Villa's library.

"What's your problem? I am just teaching--"

"Bullshit Cheyenna! You fucking kiss my brother! You are really good in making me lose my temper that I so wanted to wring your beautiful neck!!"he yelled.

I cross my arms not bothering a bit. My bored eyes lingered unto him.

"Its just a kiss and its normal in America."kaswal kong wika.

"Its a torrid kiss and we are in the Philippines for fuck sake!"

Pagkawika noon ay frustrated na hinilot niya ang noo niya. I tseked. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.

"That prudish kiss you first and I don't care so why bother that I do the same only the difference is its not you that I kissed?"

"Its just a friendly kiss and she has a name..its Danica."lapat ang labi na wika niya.

Danica. Her name ring a bell. He is the ex-Mayor's grand daughter and the Mayor's daughter! I remember her. Hindi ko lang siya nakilala kaagad dahil nagkaedad siya at tumaba ng kaunti.

How could I forget her? She is the epitome of intelligence and role model in our campus way back in highschool but I know better. She is a slut and a bitch in a long skirt. I had witness her secret that causes the sudden turn of events on me. Nahuli ko siya na nakikipag-sex sa professor namin pero pinalabas niya na ako ang ka-sex at ang masama pa ay sinabi ng professor namin na inakit ko daw siya! Sexy lang ako manamit! That two conniving and liar sod!

That ruined my highschool life. Napatalsik ako sa eskwelahan at ang hindi pa makatarungan ay na-suspend lang ang professor habang si Danica ay nanatiling malinis ang pangalan. Walang damage na nangyari sa kanya lalo at apo siya ng Mayor. Lalong nagalit sa akin si Henaro. Masakit na salita na hindi ko kinayang masikmura ang nagtulak sa akin na umalis na sa rancho.

"Oh c'mon..that prudish kiss you'coz she have hots for you."why would I abide him to call Danica on her name? I will call her whatever I want.

Lalong nagsalubong ang kilay niya.

"So you are telling me you have hots for Theodore?"

Nginisihan ko siya ng nakakaloko.

"You will never know...."I said in a singsong tone.

Bumalasik lalo ang tingin niya sa akin. Nagulat na lang ako sa sunod niyang ginawa. His arms snake around my waist while the other hand holding the back of my head. He is giving me a punishing kiss. Papatalo ba naman ako? Lumaban ako ng halikan.

"Damn you woman..I will erase Theodore's lips in your memory.."he hissed in between kissing me.

"Let's see then.."pang-aasar ko pa sa pagitan ng pakikipaghalikan sa kanya.

Isang malakas na tikhim ang nakapagpatigil sa halikan namin.

"Young people nowadays..I will never be surprise with the reason of this sudden union..Nauna pa ang halik sa pirmahan."an unfamiliar old man who entered the library tseked.

Union? Pirmahan?

Nangunot ang noo ko. Realization hit me..

"You and your clever mind! Hindi si Sebastian ang nagpapunta sa akin dito."I glared at Matheo.

"Tama ka dahil nasa Maynila si grandpa."

Marahas akong nagbuga ng hangin.

"I bet he don't know that you planned our marriage this early.."

I am a very realistic person and I never believe in fairytales. There's no such disney story in this world.

Wala pa sa isip ko ang magpakasal kung hindi lang hinihingi ng pagkakataon. Well,someday. But for now,I still love my freedom.

And this marriage? I already see this coming but I never imagined I would be marrying like this. I mean,I didn't expect a grand ceremony with the circumstances of our wedding..but with my boots on,tattered shorts,muscle tee with bralet? I don't think I suits with the occasion.

"Why preempt if this will still happen? And I am reminding you. This is a marriage for convenience."he emphasized. His face were still grim.

I found myself getting along with the situation.

Hindi na ako nakipag-argumento pa. On the other hand,he is right. I will only need to sign on our contract and all the things will be on its right places. After all,this marriage is only a formality.
