Chapter 13-Dirty Mind

"So my cheat of a wife is home.."

Nagpanting ang tenga ko sa nadinig kong iyon. Marahas akong nagbaling ng tingin kay Matheo na nakaupo sa couch sa kwarto ko.

I sighed.

"I am tired I don't wanna waste my time arguing."

Dirediretso akong naglakad papunta sa bookshelf.

"I don't appreciate you turning your back on me."Matheo who is already next to me grabbed my forearms.

"Who wants to please you,anyway?"marahas kong hinila ang kamay ko sa kanya."I wanna take a sleep."I tried hard to stay calm.

"Huh! You are tired? Of what? Fucking with that guy you are with awhile ago? One moment you are with my brother and next moment you are with a pilot?!"

"I am tired yeah. Tired of arguing with a nagger of a husband."I scoffed.

"Damn it! Sa tingin mo hindi ako napapagod? I am tired of a cheating wife!"

"I am not cheating! Fuck..you make me lose my cool."

"Yeah. Theodore went to Manila the same day you left. Nagkita kayo doon!"

"You are bloody ridiculous!"

"Sabi niya nakita ka niya sa isang fashion show.."marahas na nagbuga ng hininga si Matheo.

"I don't even see the strands of his hair.."napaisip naman ako doon. Hindi naman alam ni Theodore na sa fashion show ako pupunta. Wala akong pinagsabihan. I look at him straight on the eye."I am not a liar."

"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. One more thing..Sino iyong pilotong iyon?"

"A friend."

"A friend who carry you like a bride?"he scoffed.

"Nagseselos ka ba?"

"Hindi!"

Napangisi ako.

"Then don't act like one."

I left him dumbfounded and entered my secret room.

Matheo and I were having a breakfast.

"Uuwi ako sa Villa Zaragosa. Ipinapaasikaso sa akin ni grandpa iyong bayad sa utang ni Henaro."he broke the silence.

"Do I need to come?"

"NO. Just stay here and wait for me."

"Okay.."

Pagkatapos namin kumain ay umalis na si Matheo.

"Another boring day.."I murmured.

I think I need to do something that would worth my while. Something that would make me enjoy the day..

I got myself on my secret closet.

I grinned while looking at my things.

I am half my way to our ranch when grandpa called and told me that the meeting with Attorney is cancelled. May importanteng appointment daw si Attorney sa court na hindi pwedeng ipagpaliban.

I shrugged.

I maneuvered back on Mendrez ranch. There's something that pulled me back. Maybe I am just paranoid of watching every move of Cheyenna.

"I am not jealous,I don't want to be fooled around."I scoffed murmuring to myself.

Not a moment I arrived at the ranch. Dumiretso ako sa kwarto namin ni Cheyenna. I am thinking of watching a movie with her. Maybe we could bond and stop arguing.

Connected sa Netflix ang tv namin sa kwarto. Namimili ako ng mapapanuod namin. Tatawagin ko siya kapag may napili na ako nang may kumuha ng atensyon ko. Nagsimulang magdikit ang kilay ko at wala sa loob na tumayo sa kinauupuan ko. Lumapit ako sa may bookshelf. Bahagya kong hinawi iyong isang libro..

Para lang magulat..
