Chapter 4-Dislike

I agreed to my old man and Sebastian's fucking agreement.

Its a fucking twenty million DOLLARS at wala akong ganoong halaga idagdag pa iyong twenty million pesos para kay Mayor.

At dahil pumayag na ako ay wala ng problema. Its just a marriage in papers. No harm.

Gusto ng matandang Zaragosa na magkaasawa na ang mga apo niya. Gusto din niya ng apo sa tuhod. Madali ng magdahilan. We can always say na hindi kami makabuo though I had no plan of sleeping with my soon to be husband. Well,maybe maliban kung matukso ako. May pagkamarupok pa naman ako minsan. My mind chuckled at that thought.

Theodore is handsome. A happy-go-lucky type. Not bad at all.

Mabuti na din siguro na siya ang ipinagkasundo sa akin sa halip na si Matheo. There's something about him that I don't like.

Maybe his guts? His balbas?

Ang gusto ni Sebastian ay kilalanin namin ni Theodore ang isa'-isa. Maybe I will tell him then what my rules.

Nagpunta ako sa rancho Zaragosa dala si Light. Sabi ni Theodore ay mangangabayo kaming dalawa. Hinamon ko siya ng horse race and he gladly obliged.

I ride Light expertly. Theodore will sure of no win against me.

Franz and I were playing equestrian back in US.

My Auntie Chloe's husband--my mother's sister--had this small ranch in Colorado which I often visit. Close ako sa Auntie Chloe ko. She is the mother that I never had. Sa kanila ako unang pumunta noong umalis ako sa Pilipinas noong fifteen years old ako. Pinag-aral ako ni Auntie Chloe hanggang sa matapos ko ang highschool. After highschool eh nag-stay ako sa ranch at nag-alaga ng mga kabayo. I decided to live on my own noong mag-seventeen ako. Auntie cry hard when I tell her that but my decision is final. I want to stand on my own para may mapatunayan ako kay Henaro. I left Colorado and try my luck in Texas. That's when I met Kat. She saved me from the goons at the alley of Texas. She fought merciless. She is the most bloodthirsty woman I ever met. She amazed the hell out of me. Naisip ko na kaunaunahan kong kailangang matutunan ay ang self-defense kung gusto kong mabuhay mag-isa. Villains were roaming around the world and I won't be just a prey they would strike anytime. The rest were history..

Now,I am a Marine SEAL and I am good at everything. Horse racing is just a piece of cake.

I arrived at the ranch in a blist. Exactly five o'clock in the morning. Para daw hindi pa mainit ang pag-iikot namin sa rancho.

Itinali ko muna si Light doon sa malapit sa kwadra. I head my way to the stable.

"I thought you really are that stubborn but you agree in marrying my brother that easy."

Natigil ako sa pagpasok sa kwadra when a familiar husky voice spoke.

Matheo.

He looks at me with his brooding eyes. I almost rolled my eyes at him.

"Why wouldn't I? Your lolo will pay our debt."I smirked at him and looked at him with my teasing eyes.

"You are so blatant woman."I can sense dislike in his tone.

He walked his way near me. Mas matangkad siya kaya naman nakayuko siya sa akin. Halos magkalapit na ang mukha namin pero hindi man lang ako nakaramdam ng awkwardness. Hindi pa ipinapanganak ang taong makakapagpa-intimidate sa akin.

"I don't want you to be my sister-in-law."he emphasized the words.

Lalo akong napangisi.

"Who cares? Hindi ikaw ang pakakasalan ko kaya wala akong care kahit umusok pa ang ilong mo sa galit."bored kong wika.

Nakita ko kung paanong mag-igting ang panga niya na ikinaaaliw ko lang.

"Hey Chey.."napalingon kami sa nagsalita.

Its Theodore. Galing siya sa mansyon. I thought nasa loob na siya ng stable.

"Biglang sumakit ang tyan ko."

So,that explains.

"Kanina ka pa ba?"

"Nah,I just arrived."

Bumaling ang tingin ni Theodore kay Matheo na may blank expression.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito Matheo?"

"Pinakain ko iyong mga kabayo."

"Ganoon ba. Maiwan ka na namin,mangangabayo kami nitong mapapangasawa ko."masiglang wika ni Theodore.

Pumasok na siya sa loob ng stable. Hinila ko ang damit ni Matheo para mapalapit siya sa akin na ikinagulat niya. Inilapit ko ang mukha ko sa tenga niya.

"Ayoko din maging brother-in-law ka."bulong ko sa kanya.

Binitawan ko ang damit niya at tinapik siya sa balikat. I left him dumbfounded.

I cursed under my breath.

Paulit-ulit sa isip at pandinig ko ang pag-uusap namin ni Cheyenna. Sabagay ay hindi naman talaga kalimot-limot ang tatlong engkwentro na nakausap ko siya.

She is really different from the women I had met. Women who throw their self willingly at my feet.

Doon na nga lang sa gubat..

I was amazed of how she shot the baboy ramo. Gumagalaw iyong subject pero natamaan niya.

Well,siguro tyamba?

She is so blatant too. Walang filter ang bibig. Ayoko ng ganoong babae.

Suddenly,I remember how hot her breath in my ears. She had a bedroom voice too. And,I saw how sexy she sway her hips.

Damn it! She's still after our money!

I won't let her marry my brother. I won't let that happen.
