mistletoe

December 1st, 2019
As she woke up and got ready for school, she felt a bit better.

As much as school is boring, it gives her something to focus on other than herself.

It lets her, for 8 hours, ignore all her problems and just focus on understanding what's going on.

She spent her school day sneaking of to the bathroom every chance she got, to text Christopher.

Her friends kept trying to get her attention, and pry her away from her phone, but she wouldn't budge.

They assumed that therapy went well.

Afterschool, Christopher, texted her to go outside. He was there waiting for her.

Then, they walked to a nearby 7-11 and got some slushies.

They spent the rest of the night talking, and walking around.

As it began to get late, maybe around 4 hours later, he walked her home.

He saw the Christmas decorations, and she explained.

They stepped onto her front porch and said goodnight.

As she began to turn away, he called out for her and said "Not so fast. Look up."

Lo and behold, mistletoe hung up.

So she walked back over, kissed him, and said "Goodnight, Christopher."

And he left.

thanks for reading
idk how to write these parts,
like ik how to write what's coming and stuff, but i get stuck in the in between. i was gonna put the live version of dl, but this was too good of an opportunity to not put this.
n e ways, i've been watching dawson's
creek, and Joey and Pacey are meant to be together (i'm on season three) like as soon as i saw them SHIP. also dawson sucks. i hate his character. and jen's storyline is pretty boring.
also, i'm reading the actual perks of being a wallflower book and it's so good. i'm almost done.
oh and me being me, i got an idea for a new book, not rini. it's enola and Tewksbury. but if i do make it, i won't post it until after i finish at least half of affinity.
