a/n: read the bottom note please.
She went to her first therapy session.
The therapist had freed up her day for Nina.

They sat there in silence, as Nina's leg shook and she fidgeted with her fingers. She told Nina that she could start speaking, whenever she felt like it.

That apparently was two hours later.

She was like a dam that had burst, once she started speaking, she wouldn't stop.
She told Dr. Montgomery about everything that happened. She couldn't tell you when she had started crying.

She told her about how she saw his lifeless body, thrown in the middle of the road.

How she sees his body every single day.
How she wakes up crying, shaking, in a cold sweat every few hours and can never get a full night of sleep.

How it's her fault.

Her therapist tells her, it's not, but that doesn't help.

She told her all the ways she's broken. How it should've been her. Not him.

How he didn't deserve to die. How after all those years of his suffering, he deserved to finally live.

"I wanna go home. But he was my home and I can't."

After a few more hours of conversation, Nina decided she was done and so she started leaving.

Dr. Montgomery explains to her mothers that Nina likely has PTSD. Along with anxiety, and depression.

She prescribes her medication and tells her she'll be seeing her 3 times a week, for the foreseeable future.
