In the morning Hiccup and I walked to the arena, Tuffnut spoke "I hope I get a scar" he said I could hear the grin in his voice and I rolled my eyes. "I want one on my lower back" Ruffnut said I am sure these people are amazing but they are talking like idiots. "Yeah it's all fun until you get a scar" the Astrid girl said and Hiccup spoke up, "yeah totally... Pain" I elbowed him and Tuff let out a groan "who let them in?" He said and I crossed my arms and narrowed my eyes at him. "Oh you know just getting my scars" I said sarcastically limping forward, "The best one in training gets to kill their first dragon, in front of the whole village" and I heard Snoutlout laugh "well Hiccup already killed a Nightfury does that disqualify him?" He asked and I rolled my eyes in annoyance, as I heard Gobber say something to Hiccup I stood on the right of Hiccup while he stood next to Fishlegs. The others looked at me as I sighed and crossed my arms "I swear... I don't want to be here... I would rather be studying the Book of Dragons..." I complained and Gobber rolled his eyes. "The Dragons you will be up against will be the Deadly Nadder, The Hideous Zippleback," I heard Fishlegs say something about each and Gobber went on "The Monstrous Nightmare, The Terrible Terror, Will you stop that!" He yelled at Fishlegs and I chuckled slightly as his hand rested on the lever and I smirked knowing what he was doing, "and the Gronckle" Snoutlout stepped forward in fear "wait aren't you going to teach us first?!" He asked loudly and Gobber smirked " prefer learning from experience" he said pulling the lever down and a large brown female Gronckle bowled out running into the wall opposite and scooping up rocks. "What is the one thing you need?!" Gobber asked and Hiccup looked around "A doctor?" Fishlegs looked at Gobber "plus 5 speed?" He asked and Astrid rolled her eyes "a shield!" She yelled and Gobber nodded "correct if you had the choice between a sword and a shield choose a shield!" He yelled helping Hiccup with his shield. I got my shield set up as I limped to jump out of the way of the Gronckles blast.

"What is another thing a shield is good for?!" Gobber asked and I sighed knowing these idiots may not get it, "NOISE!" I said loudly hitting my sword against the shield making a metallic twang noise. The Gronckle shook its head firmly and looked around at the dizzying noises it was hearing. 

"How many shots does the Gronckle have?" Gobber asked looking at us and Snoutlout shouted "5?!" Gobber shook his head "no!" He said and Fishlegs answered "6!" Gobber nodded "correct one for most of yeah" Gobber said looking at the islanders then to me and I smirked. The twins were out for arguing, Fishlegs got out when he answered the question, and Snoutlout was shot when he was 'flirting' with Astrid which made me want to gag. As Hiccup stood beside Astrid I saw him try to make small talk, "NOPE Just you!" She said loudly and dived out of the way as Hiccup's shield was struck by the Gronckle and he went after it. "Hiccup!" Gobber and I yelled at the same time and the Gronckle knocked him down I raced forward ignoring the fresh pain that shot through my leg as I sprinted forward, I got in front of the Gronckle my eyes firmly placed on hers as I stepped up and started to whistle. She stopped her attack and looked at me before Gobber yelled and the Gronckle was snapped out of its stupor and misfired at the wall, "go back to bed you overgrown sausage" Gobber grunted as he threw the dragon into the pen. Gobber turned to all of us "the dragon, always, ALWAYS, goes for the kill" he said turning to us seeing my firm stance and my burning silver eyes. 

I followed Hiccup back to the area where the Nightfury was originally and we looked at the ropes, "why didn't he?" Hiccup asked looking up at me and I shrugged as he followed the trail the dragon left. I followed in silence as we made it to an enclosed ravine, I noticed scales on the ground and elbowed Hiccup sharply making him look at them. He picked one up to inspect it and a loud roar and wind made me fall back in surprise as Hiccup gasped the Nightfury was trying to get out, my eyes widened when we both got down to the second rock and my eyes followed the large dragon as it tried to fly out, Hiccup patted himself to find his book to draw the dragon, the dragon shot but when Hiccup looked at the dragon again we both noticed it's tail fin was only one instead of two. "Why don't you just fly away?" He erased the second tail fin and the dragon tried again, as it crashed which made me flinch a splash caught the dragon's attention.

As Hiccup watched he relaxed but his hand released the pencil he had and he dropped it, "ah you idiot" I muttered and rolled my eyes. It got the attention of the dragon and the creature looked up at us, as Hiccup put his head to the side, the dragon mimicked him in thought.

I was in the Great Hall with Hiccup eating, they had stuff I never really ate like mutton, my tribe lives off of fish and veggies as gross as that sounds we get creative. Gobber was talking Hiccup and I perked up slightly and my head turned to see him throw books onto a table, "The Book of Dragons, tells you about every dragon in the archipelago" I bit my lip and looked away knowing it wasn't true I remained silent as the other teens left and I followed Hiccup as the light shut off and I huffed a storm raged outside and I knew The Skrill was enjoying herself out there in the lightning storm and I chuckled softly. Hiccup went through the book as I tapped my fingers on the table until a thud made me jump and I turned to see Hiccup throw his journal on The Book of Dragons. I read through it as Hiccup watched me turn to the page of the Skrill 'kill on sight' really dangerous electrokineses  and eletroballs I sighed "it's false... All these dragons are nice... We have two scauldrons at home that protect our bay..." I said looking at Hiccup who sighed as well.
