I worked with Hiccup pumping the air and making sure Stormdancer was comfortable, I helped hold things still as Hiccup worked to make the new tail for his new friend. "His name Toothless?" I asked and he nodded smiling and I smiled in turn "good name" I said happily and he glanced at me happily. He then went to working on his own and I left to not distract him anymore, my father went with Stoic to the dragons 'home' I sighed uneasily I had not agreed with my father going in the first place but I had little to no control over it. 

I sat with Stormdancer in a catapult I heard someone clear their throat and I turned to see Hiccup with the tail open and I smiled happily and brightly, "good job!" I said and he smiled at me as he tucked it under his arm. 

We waited till the next day to go back, I carried the fish while Stormdancer followed from the forest on since she wasn't allowed in the village. I hummed a small tune as I followed to the Ravine and Hiccup motioned for the fish I set it down and took the tail then he kicked the sac over. "So we have..." he labeled fish as I looked at Stormdancer, "want to go for a fly?" I asked her and she cooed at me happily as I slowly made my way onto her rough back. "Sam, I will help you make a saddle later okay? I just want to get this tuff figured out" I nodded as Stormdancer and I took off into the sky I felt the wind blow through my hair and I smiled happily. 

As we got back I noticed that Hiccup was soaked and Toothless looked slightly grumpy and I snorted in amusement, "let me guess..." I said and Hiccup looked at me "don't even" he said laughing slightly as he and I walked back to the village. 

We were up against the Zippleback, I was with Astrid and Ruffnut, "hey... Sam... I wanted to say sorry about the other day..." Astrid said looking at me and I shrugged "it's alright" I said and heard clicking. Astrid and Ruffnut threw their water at Snoutlout and Tuff while I rolled my eyes amused, I looked through the mist and found something moving towards me like a snake. I smiled knowing what it was, as it appeared it looked down on me curious Gobber was throwing orders around as the head sparked and the second head appeared Hiccup trying throwing water at the much higher head and the second head rumbled in amusement as it went to attack, Hiccup pulled out the eel. He thrust it forwards scaring them and pushing the Zippleback into the pen again and my eyes widened in shock, "wow..." I said blushing slightly as he smiled at me and walked away. The others looked shocked and I shook my head amused "wow... He is the smartest I had seen" I muttered walking away.

Hiccup and I were both working on different saddles, I need one for Stormdancer, her scales were driving me insane. As he finished I looked at him and we went back out to the ravine, Stormdancer looked at the saddle in curiosity and I laughed as Toothless began to play and Hiccup had to chase him. I watched as the two trained and worked together to help Toothless fly again, I threw in helpful hints and I watched as the crashed from pulling the tail too hard and we landed in a field all of us, Stormdancer and Toothless were rolling in the grass and I looked at Hiccup as he smiled in return. 

The next day we worked with the Gronckle again, I let out a trill whistle getting its attention and Hiccup approached carefully putting it into a happy stupor as it smelled the Dragon Nip. I laughed as I helped him. I learned from Gothi that Hiccup and I were the best in the class and I looked up at her and smiled in return. 

Hiccup came up with an excuse to go back to the ring and I looked at them, "what... I am going to hang out with my Skrill" I said and they rolled their eyes while Astrid glared at us. 

Hiccup was scratching Toothless and by far Toothless loved, until Hiccup scratched under his chin and Toothless collapsed, I looked at Stormdancer as she nudged me for scratches as well and I smiled scratching her scales. As I got to under her neck area she too collapsed with Toothless and my brows went up in shock as I looked at Hiccup in shock.

We were against the Nadder again it charged Hiccup and I whistled slowing it down, Hiccup scratched and I watched as Astrid went to get it and the dragon collapsed. Astrid screamed at Hiccup in frustration. 

I sat with Hiccup in the Great Hall only to be crowded by the others I turned my head slightly to see Astrid slam her mug on the table and I looked at her apologetically. She caught my eyes and glared at me firmly and I flinched from her before looking down, I felt Hiccup nudge me gently and I smiled at him. 

I watched amused at Hiccup messed with the hammer in hand causing a slight shine on the ground, Stormdancer and Toothless chased the light on the ground like wildcats and I laughed amused.

"I introduce you to the Terrible Terror" Tuff laughed "Ha that's the size of-" he was cut off as the Terrible Terror attached to his nose, I let out a short laugh as I began to whistle again, this time I noticed that any dragons within the ring or the pens area of me went eerily quiet and calm as Hiccup lead the small dragon back into its Pen. "They are way better then you ever were" Tuffnut said making Astrid glaring at him.
