"Eat up." The feminine voice boomed. She placed the plate filled with food in front of me and stared dead at me in the eyes.
"I'm fine Sooyoung-ah." I assured as I pushed the plate away towards her. "I bought this for you so eat up." I smiled.
Sooyoung scoffed as she looked at me in disbelief. "Fine?" She asked. "I don't think so. Just look at you oppa! You're really thin!" Sooyoung said as she carried my right hand up to show me how much weight I lost. I chuckled. "I'm not hungry so just eat up." I lied. To be honest, I'm hungry but I bought this for Sooyoung.
"Keep telling that to yourself." Sooyoung snorted. "I ain't moving an inch if you didn't eat up. I'm perfectly healthy all thanks to you but look at you! You'll grow thin and weak if you didn't eat." Sooyoung said worryingly. I sighed knowing she will be stubborn now. I pursed my lips and looked at the plate filled with rice before an idea popped.
"How about I eat half and you eat half? That'll be a win-win situation for the both of us." I explained. Sooyoung narrowed her eyes before nodding. "Fine." She took the plate away to the kitchen and I sat still on the chair.
Thoughts raised in my head but I cleared everything and thought about the remaining one that is continuing to linger in my mind.
"Sooyoung-ah!" I yelled. "Yeah?" She yelled back. "How much is the camp trip again?" I asked once Sooyoung came towards me holding 2 plates.
"Hmm, I think it cost about 150 dollars?" She replied, unsure. "Why do you ask anyways?" She asked. I smiled. "I'll pay for the trip. Just enjoy okay?" I spoke. Sooyoung's eyes widened as she leaned closer. "Wait really? You'll pay? But it's expensive. I'll be fine at home." She replied with a little pout and leaned on her chair. I chuckled.
"You are still young so have fun till you can. I mean, I'm not expecting you to get A grades for all subjects or anything. All I want you to do is have the time of your life. Being a kid is fun you know?" I said. I missed all of my child and teen hood but I can't let Sooyoung miss hers.
Sooyoung nodded but frowned. "Are you implying I'm a kid?" She asked, pointing at me accusingly. I shook my head in defense. "Ani! Why would you say that?!" I asked. She smirked and nodded. "That's more like it! Now let's dig in!" She exclaimed. I smiled and nodded before eating my own food.
