Author's POV
Silence was the only thing surrounding the atmosphere in the household. Jimin sat on the couch, chewing on his lips as he repeatedly looked over at the door, hesitating whether to knock on her door.
Ever since the previous incident, Rosé's been shut in the room for days. She would only come out of the 4 walled room after Jimin telling her that he is leaving the house for a few hours just so he could give her some time for her so that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable and to eat.
Jimin sighed and slowly stood up and walked towards her door. He paced right and left, wondering if it was a good decision. It's been like a week with Jimin not being able to speak to her nor see her as to give her space. He kinda missed the days when they laid on each other's bed and stared at the ceiling, talking of random and out of the world things.
He genuinely enjoyed her accompany.
And, it hurts him a little to see the distance between them. Even though she was just a door away, very near, to him, she was still so far away emotionally and physically. He wanted to rewind time and go back to the day of the incident and hoped he stopped her. He hated the fact that he never stopped her from leaving the room, otherwise none of this would have happened but he was late.
Late.
And as he thought that he was late, a buzz buzzed in his head but he let it be in the back of his head and focused the front.
Clearing his throat, he knocked twice and called out her name. Of course she didn't reply. Jimin sighed and leaned against her door.
"You don't have to open the door but can we talk?" Slowly, he slid down and sat. His head against the wooden door while his hands hugged his knees.
"I know you're hurting right now after what you went through and as a guy, I don't know what to do to help you. To be honest, I hate myself for not stopping you and even if I didn't, I hated the fact I wasn't fast enough to protect you..." He breathed out as he looked down.
"But I want you to know that, I'm here for you," He spoke. Silence garnered itself after his words left. He just quietly sat and he swore that he felt heavy breathing just behind him. It was as if Rosé sat against the door like the scene in Frozen where both Elsa and Anna sat on the ground against the door.
"To be honest, I miss it. I miss the days where we talked and the days where you always tease me about my height. Somehow, I've grown attached to your presence, Rosé." He uttered. "So, before I go and give you space, can I ask how you feel? Are you fine? Be honest with your feelings Rosé."
Rosé's breathing grew heavy after Jimin uttered and before he knew, Rosé was mourning. Her mourn was filled with the feeling of bittersweetness that someone finally asked her how she felt. It also had the hunch of gratitude.
"H-hey, hey, what's wrong?" It took Jimin of surprise when Rosé wailed and he also felt glad to know that Rosé was behind this door, feeling safe a little with no presence of anyone else other than him. The door creaked a little and before he could turn to face it completely, Rosé hugged Jimin. Her tears fell like the rain with no stop. His shirt was also becoming wet from her wet tears but he didn't care as it was not in his mind. The only thing he could focus on was the girl who was crying in front of him.

Time was ticking, slowly. No one was speaking as Jimin was anxious of his words while Rosé just wanted to be quiet and not look at him. After all, she was clutching onto Jimin for half an hour, crying her heart out. His words pulled the strings in her heart when she heard him speaking.
"Are you feeling better?" Rosé looked up after Jimin spoke. Slowly, she nodded with her eyes on her thighs, hands playing. She wanted to say something.
"It's not your fault..."
"Huh?"
She sighed, "It's not your fault for being late. I should've known something like that was bound to happen, after all I'm a young and pretty girl and predators are ready to prey on me when it's dark or somewhere awfully quiet."
Jimin pursed his lips. "I don't know if I should really ask but did he.. touch you anywhere inappropriate..?"
Rosé chewed on her inner cheek and shook her head, "He just held me by my shirt and was about to touch on my breasts before you came by. I'm actually thankful you did. Thank you so much."
A sigh of relief left his lips, "Thank god... Next time, please tell me you're going out at night. I'll follow so this wouldn't happen."
