Beep! Beep! Beep!
I groaned and slammed my hand on my alarm clock to silence it. A sigh left my lips and I stared at the white ceiling above me for a while before I forced myself up. My eyes automatically wandered off to the calendar that sat lonely on the desk beside my stacks of books.
January 1st. New year new me shit. Ugh!
I groaned and entered the bathroom, grabbing my toothbrush and a toothpaste to brush my teeth.
After a few minutes of showering and getting myself ready, I left my house and started to walk to the bus stop.
Ding!
My phone notification went off and I took my phone out which was in my pocket.

Seulgi texted me. I pursed my lips and sighed. My hands hesitantly tapping each word, slowly typing.

I entered the send button feeling guilty. I feel bad for always using this excuse. We haven't even had a proper date without me leaving in the middle of it. Seulgi is a loving and understanding girlfriend and she deserves better.
I don't want to reveal my problems because I don't want to feel pathetic. I feel so pathetic when I'm with her.

Seulgi really deserves better. Why is she still not breaking up with me? I wondered as I waited for the bus to arrive. My eyes wandered to couples holding hands while they walked, chattering and laughing at each other. I smiled but the smile dropped a second later. When was the last Seulgi and me did that couple things? I can't even remember it... I sighed.
The bus eventually arrived and I entered, walking to the back seat. I settled down and looked out of the window. Couples were all I could see the whole ride and that made me really guilty.
After a few stops, I got down and dragged myself to my first shift at the busy coffee shop.
