Jimin's POV

The morning came and I was expecting Sooyoung to be busting through my door to wake me up or to announce she is leaving to school but neither happened.

Aish, she left to the 1 week camp idiot. I told myself and woke up. This must be how Sooyoung must've felt when I'm at work 24/7... I thought as I felt lonely at the quietness in this household. Usually the television will be on and blaring random songs or kdramas or I would be smelling food which she usually makes for herself and let me be drooling at the sight of the fine dishes.

I sighed. "Time to go to work!" I mumbled, faking an excited expression before snorting and moving into the bathroom to take a quick shower.

Beads of sweat formed on my forehead as I trudged my way towards the café where my third job awaits.

"I swear I'm leaving that job when I get enough salary from this job." I mumbled and pushed the door, the bell above ringing my presence.

"Hi Jimin-sshi and now bye! Gotta run!" The lady who stood behind the cashier said and started to dash towards the door. I looked at her oddly before turning my attention towards the empty and silent café.

"Oh," A voice suddenly spoke right after the lady left, making me turn my attention towards the door again which rang at the exact moment I faced the person. "Hi ahjusshi, the usual latte please." The girl from the previous day said as she walked towards the table she sat at yesterday. Today, her hair was tied in a low ponytail, some strands were on her face instead of the let down hair she had yesterday, allowing me to see her face clearly.

She's really really pretty to be honest...

I watched her walking slowly with loads of books on her hands. It seemed as if it was going to fall as it wobbled continuously. "Do you need uhm, some help?" I asked as I continued watching her and doing the latte.

The girl shook her head and finally settled down on her seat. I nodded a little and placed the latte she ordered before her and sat opposite her, knowing she will not give me an answer even if I asked since she seemed distracted with the stacks of books in front of her.

"You know," I said, trailing off as I continued looking at her. The blonde girl opposite me looked at me with a questioning gaze. "Stop calling me ahjusshi. It's making me seem old." I mumbled, loud enough for her to hear. The blonde girl laughed, "Then what should I call you?" She asked. "Ahjusshi?" She added, making me groan. "I told you don't call me that." The blonde chuckled. "Alright sorry haha but then what do you want me to address you as?"

My lips curled into a thin line as I thought about which nickname I should give her since I have a lot. There was silence between us before the blonde broke it. "No offence but like, what is there to think about when you are literally just going to give me your name?" She asked. "You're right. Anyways, just call me Jimin or Chim or anything you want to." I answered.

"Then I prefer to call you ahjusshi." She replied, earning a glare from me.

"Except that." I deadpanned. The blonde before me laughed, nodding her head. "Okay haha but I think I will call you Jimin-ssi since we basically just met a day ago or sumn and we are basically acquaintances." I shrugged, "Suit yourself. What's your name by the way?" I asked as I saw a little change in expression.

I noticed how her eyes widened as her lips were curled back, eyes wandering left and right as if she was panicking. "You can call me," She paused a while before looking at me in the eyes.

"Call me Anne."

"Anne?" I repeated. The blonde, now known as Anne nodded with a small smile. "Yes, Anne. Call me that." She said. My head tilted to the side as I look at her with curiosity. "But it isn't korean." She chuckled, "It's because I'm from Australia. I'm a Korean but I'm born in Australia." I nodded, understandingly. Anne smiled. "I would love to continue speaking but I have to complete my assignment so that I can go back so please excuse me Jimin-ssi." Anne said, making me nod and stand up.

"Sorry, please continue." I apologized, earning a soft smile and nod from Anne before she started to furiously copy down things that I don't even understand.
