Jimin's POV

I stared at the ceiling in a blank state of mind. No thoughts. No feelings. Just pure blankness. The pitter patter of the rain didn't decrease, instead it increased beating on my window.

"Hey, Jimin," I flinched, getting up to face the door where Rosé was standing and staring at me oddly. "Don't suddenly speak out loud like that!" I complained before calming myself and laying back on the bed.

"Then do you expect me to next time pour ice cubes on you or maybe jams?"

"At least it's better." I mumbled. Rosé sat on my bed and laid down beside me. "Alright, I'll do that, I guess." Rosé spoke and I could feel the shrug she did as the bed shook a little. Together, we quietly laid, staring at the wall.

"So, what's up?" I asked, breaking the silence and faced Rosé who was puckering her lips while staring at the ceiling. "I'm bored so I decided to join you." I nodded. Silence filled between us and I stared at her. My eyes slowly lowered to her shirt. Why is she always wearing long sleeved, even on a hot day?

"Hey," I called out and Rosé hummed. "I'm curious but why do you always wear long sleeved shirts? Even if it's very hot, you still wear it."

"I-I love long sleeved shirts." I squinted my eyes. "Yeah right, ain't buying it." Rosé sat up straight and I stared at her back. "What's wrong?" She shook her head. "You know, I'm going to my room. See you later."

"See you later, I guess...?"

Rosé's POV

My feet automatically moved towards the door. Not my room door but the door to leave the household. I already had a jacket wrapped around me and my hair in a decent look.

My breathing pace increased as his words entered my head. I entered the lift and leaned against the wall.

"I'm curious but why do you always wear a long sleeved shirt? Even if it's very hot, you still wear it."

I inhaled then exhaled continuously, calming myself as I walked down the pavement after getting out the lift. The rain stopped but the cool wind continued to blow softly as my hair followed. My eyes looked down to my covered hands. Slowly, I pushed the fabric away, slightly wincing at the pain followed by. I eyed the small red patches around my hand with events of the past entering my head.

I chuckled softly with tears starting to well up. Why I wear long sleeved shirts? Too hide the burnt marks my 'parents' gave me. To avoid how I felt during that. I looked away and sighed. It feels nice actually to be away from that suffocating place. I smiled a little and continued walking. Cars and motors drove passed me in a blink and before I knew it, all were gone. The streets light as my only light in the dark. I continued walking with no halt in my steps. Let's just walk around before I go back.

Jimin's POV

An hour passed and I finally separated myself from my bed. The rain from outside finally stopped although I wished it didn't. Walking towards my door, I opened it and peeked, looking around my living room for the blonde girl's presence. Empty. Hmm? I left the room and walked towards her door, slowly knocking. "Rosé?"

No response.

"Rosé?" I called out once again but no response. Is she asleep? Slowly, I opened her door to check but no presence. Her lights were on but there was no her. Is she showering? "Rosé? Are you in the shower?"

No response. Again. Worry filled me as I went to the kitchen, hoping the blonde will be there, sneakily munching on food. Still none. Did she go out? It's late right now, especially for a girl to be out alone... I thought before a thought entered my head. Eyes wide and worry in me, I dashed out the door.

Shit, shit, shit! Didn't she watch the news that there is a weirdo roaming around to harass girls during late nights?!
