Chance's POV

As I watched her walk in the house, the reality of the day sunk in. We hung out at the park with Abigail and Aiden, who are now sleep.

I've had a secret crush on her since freshman year. We were in homeroom together and the teacher asked everyone to get up and introduce themselves. When she went up, her voice was melodic.

I tried talking to her, but here friends were always around and when they weren't around, Max was. I really despised Max. He didn't value the treasure that he had and instead wanted to be greedy.

Even though Jenny didn't tell me what happened, I found out. While I was driving the twins to a play date, I saw the whole seen unravel. I was so caught up in the fact that Max was kissing another girl when he had Jenny, that I missed the the twins' friend's house. Somehow they figured that out and started yelling, "CHANCE! WACHEL'S HOUSE IS WIGHT DERE!"

Ever since that day, I knew that I had to make her mine. It would be a win-win situation for the both of us. I would be with my crush, while she won't have to be with terribly rude guys.

After my long moment of thought, I drove back home. I carried both twins in the house and put them in bed. As I was about to walk out, Aiden stopped me.

"Where is Jenny?" He asked, sleepiness coating his voice.

"I took her home." I said through a yawn.

"I really like her." Aiden said through a yawn of his own before closing his eyes.

'Me too buddy'

I headed to my parent's room to tell them that we were home, but they weren't there. This was a normal occurrence, but I wanted to check to be sure. Once I headed to my room, I looked at my clock.

'10:37'

I changed and got in bed. Hopefully I would be able to talk to Joanna again tomorrow.

" Go away!" I snapped groggily.

"Stop!!" I yelled, opening my eyes to see both Abigail and Aiden tapping my arm.

I looked at the clock and saw that I had 45 minutes to get the twins ready, me ready, take them to preschool, and get to school. I picked them both up and ran to the bathroom. While they were brushing their teeth I filled the tub with a little water.

While they were splashing in the water, I picked out their outfits. Once I finished getting them cleaned, they sat on the couch downstairs to watch tv. I looked at the clock again. 20 minutes left.

I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. Then, I threw on a tee shirt and a pair of pants I found on the floor.

I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. When I looked in the kitchen, I saw the twins trying to make cereal, but failing miserably. There was milk all on the counter and cereal all on the floor. Luckily, they didn't get any on their clothes. Abigail had on a long sleeved floral dress and Aiden had on a dinosaur tee shirt and jeans.
