-Nialls POV-

I was pacing on her front porch. Should I ring it? Should I leave and chicken out? Niall! Just ring the doorbell! My hands started to sweat as I rang it.

Not to long after she opened the door. "Niall?!" She closing the door. I knew she was upset. I would be also.

"Wait, Raylin." I said. What was I doing. How come I get all courageous now? I knew that when she responded and said I could talk... Well nothing would come out. I was a nervous wreck.

"What?" She said looking annoyed. Like I said.. I think nothing would come out.

"Please, I want to talk." I asked pleading. I was surprised that ? I could actually say something.

"Fine." She said and opened the door wider and I walked in. Okay, pass the first step. What was I going to say next? What was I going to do?

"Raylin, I'm sorry. I should have said something. You've always been a best friend-"

"I don't want to hear that talk. I don't want to hear you're my best friend but. There's always a but." she said looking anywhere, but me. It hurt just thinking about how hurt she felt.

"But that's not what I was going to say." I said softly, but loud enough she could hear.

"You weren't?" She said surprised.

"I wasn't." I said. I was on a roll man. I was confident.

"Then why were you going to say?" she asked.

"I was going to say that you've always been a best friend science we got to know each other, but I want I be more then that. I want to be able to tell you that your beautiful and not it being all weird."

"You do?" She asked.

"I do" I said. I did. Wow, Was she going to think I was cheesy or would she actually think that was attractive. i had no earthly clue about the female species.

"Then why didn't you say anything when I told you I liked you?" She asked.

"Because wouldn't you be shocked if you found out your crush liked you back?" I said knowing she would agree.

"Yeah....."

"It might not be long for some people, but for me that's a huge shock Raylin your great. Ugh how do I put this without being cheesy?" I said.

"I don't know." She said smiling.

"Are we okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said.

"So it would be okay if I asked you out in a date sometime?"

"Yeah." She said.

"Awesome." I said.

"Niall?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks." She said.

"For what?" I asked confused.

"For not giving up." She said.

"I'm glad I didn't." I said. This moment was so cliche but it was my cliche moment so tough luck. I finally got the girl and I'm not afraid to tell the world.
