Almost one month later

I walked with attitude as I walked past the new couple. SJ and my Ex-best friend Marley were kissing by the bakery I worked at. That son of a mushroom. I wanted to go all out ninja on both of them, but I didn't because I was the pastors daughter.

When I told my Daddy about what happened, Daddy wanted to hunt him down with his shotgun, but momma didn't let him. Also they were in London and that kinda wouldn't work out.....Wow I thought to myself as I walked into the bakery. I sound like I'm in the south, but I'm in Grand rapids. Hmmm I think in my head for a good thing to say to them that'll make them stop kissing as I clock in. Then I think I've got it. " Mrs.Summer are those people outside your bakery bugging you?" I ask.

"Yes dear, they really should do that somewhere else." Mrs. Summer says shielding her eyes as them to start kissing again.

"I'll go fix that Mrs.Summer." I say as I walk out. I stop right in front of them. "Uhmen you two. Simon Jake and Marley can you please stop sucking each others faces off because your scaring everyone and they die when they see both of you. I feel so bad for the kid who has to deal with you two." I say. They break apart.

"Your just jealous." Marley says.

"Me jealous? Of you?" I say and then I laugh. "Marley I would never want to break you apart! Your perfect for each other. You both lie, swear, hurt people and you both don't know how to respect yourselves." I say with a smirk.

"Rain....." SJ says. He looks mad. He looks like he could hit me. He raises his hand.

"Oh you don't want to do that. When Daddy and the rest of the community find out you hit the Pastors daughter, Daddy will come after you ill his shot gun and drive you and your girlfriends family right out of grand rapids and wish they ere never born. Trust me he'll come from London no matter what." I say smirking. They both look scared and walk away. They start running holding hands. I smirk and walk back in the bakery. It felt so good.

"That was quite a show you put on there." Mrs.Summer says.

"I'll be here all week." I say and take a bow.

I walk home with my head held high. Today was the best day ever. I unlocked the door and went inside. I locked the door behind me. I heard the TV on. I walked into the family room and there sat my brother Derrington. "Der Bear!" I said as I rushed up to him.

"Hey Raindrop."He says giving me a hug. He's back from the army.

"When did you get back?" I said.

"Yesterday, but this is a short visit I'm leaving tomorrow." he says.

"Okay, I don't have anything else today. Wanna go to the Chinese buffet?" I ask.

"Yeah sure, but I'm paying." Derrington says.

"Fine, but then I get to drive." I grumble.

"But your only 18!" Derrington says.

"I'm gonna be 19 in the fall and I'm old enough to drive!" I say.

"Aww Raindrop I trust you." He says as he ruffles my hair. We walk out the door and I lock the door. We hop into my black GTO 2005. I drive and we chat about things.

"So hows the army?" I ask.

"Good. Hows the ex?" he asks.

"Still a dip." I said smiling.

We walk in the restaurant and get a table. After the waiter comes and gets our drink orders we go up to the buffet.

"Wow, I forgot how much you eat." Derrington says. I roll my eyes and keep stuffing my face with Chinese food. "How can you not be fat?" My brother asks.

"Fast metabolism." I say simply. I shrug. I am always hungry and I can eat all I want and never get fat. It works well for me.

"Your crazy." My brother says. I roll my eyes and finish my plate. I think I should stop so I can have time with my bro so when the lady comes and asks if we're done I nod. She gives me the bill.

"I'll get it." I say quickly and pull out my credit card before he can say anything. I give her my card and she walks away.

"Hey I was gonna pay." Derrington says.

"Sorry Der Bear I already did." I say. The lady comes back with my card and we head out. "I'm gonna miss you Der bear." I say as we come close to home.

"Me too raindrop." Derrington says.

I was afraid for him and what the army would take from him. He came back a different person each time and I was wondering if this time he would ever come back.
