Trust me (Niall Horan Fan Fiction)

Sleepless nights

-Niall's POV-

I walked into the house dragging my feet. In two days I would be in England planning the tour then going on tour shortly after. I yawned and put down my keys on the living room table. I ran a hand through my hair and went upstairs to the bedroom. I smiled as I saw Raylin sleeping soundly. I walked over to the bed and bent down to kiss her forehead. I frowned slightly knowing that in a few days I wouldn't be able to see her in person.

I changed into pajama bottoms and slipped in to bed. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her close. This. I would miss this most. I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep, but I was restless. I was nervous. This would be the first time I was going away... I have to admit that when we met it was really cheesy and I didn't even think that we would be together, but the future is never planned. It's unexpected.

I was counting sheep, counting up to one hundred and closing my eyes and focusing on my breathing, but I couldn't fall asleep. I was worried... Worried about the stereo-typical things. For example, when I left Raylin would find someone who could be with her more often and leave me for him. It wasn't a least bit true, but it still worried me.

I wondered if we would be different people when we came back. I was worried that the paparazzi would make up a rumor about me with another girl, who probably is just a friend and Raylin would leave me. I sat up in bed. It was not good to think about these things, but my mind would wander and that was dangerous.

I was scared. I was totally and utterly scared. I sat up in bed. I just couldn't fall asleep. I walked downstairs and into the living room and turned on the TV. I turned the volume down and flipped through the channels.

"What are you doing?" A tired voice said behind me. I turned to see Raylin rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"I couldn't sleep." I said. She walked over to the couch and sat next to me. Her head leaned on my shoulder.

"Want some tea? That always helps me sleep." She said.

"Sure." I said. She smiled lightly and walked into the kitchen, my eyes following her in till she was out of sight. I sighed. I sounded like the girl in the relationship, but I was scared about her with other guys. Raylin was beautiful and other guys would hit on her before she even knew what was happening. Raylin was very innocent. I knew her family kept her shielded. They wouldn't let her watch a PG-13 rated movie till she was sixteen.

She was shielded form a lot of things that were bad. They didn't let her watch the news or anything that might scar her or make her learn form it. I was scared that when a guy came up to her and asked her something or other she wouldn't know what it meant and wouldn't run away from that person. I know I sounded clingy and very protective. I just wanted her safe.

I thanked god that she didn't have a twitter or Facebook. She only had a private instagram and email that didn't let anyone, but the people she allowed to send her emails. She didn't really use her phone either, so I was safe from her getting hate. She wasn't interested with those type of things anyways.

Raylin came back with some tea and placed the warm mug in my hands.

"Here, it's jasmine tea." she said with a smile.

"Thank you." I said. I felt a little broken because she wasn't going to be there. who knew that a complete stranger who I met on accident led to this. it wasn't realistic, but it was magical. I know I sound like a girl. I felt like I would cry more then she would when I had to leave. I would really miss her. I wonder I she would think I was too clingy if I told her about it. I decided to stay strong.

"Hey you better go get some sleep. I'll come up in a little bit kay?" I said.

"Okay. I'll see you up there soon." she said. I smiled at her warily and went back to thinking. I knew Raylin would do her job at the photography place and she would hang with friends and stuff. I hope I would have time to Skype her and to text and call. I think I have to set up a Skype for her. again Raylin wasn't into the social networking sites at all.

I went upstairs into our room to find Raylin fast asleep. "What would I do without you?"

Hey guys! I'm starting something really bid in a few days and I'll be away for a long time, but I'll try to update whenever I can! please don't give up on reading this. I know the beginning of how they met and stuff was cheesy, but you guys have motivated me to be the writer I am today. I really want to thank you and I'll try to update whenever I can! i love you guys!

Oh and has anyone seen "This is Us"? It's really really good. Hope you guys get to see it!
