The Missing Piece

Today is the day we've been waiting for. The moment mama and papa left the house, I immediately headed to Dave's house since we'll do our final touch there.

I took a taxi since my parents has left some errands for ate Jenna so she can't drive me to Dave's subdivision.

Mula kaninang umaga pa ay hindi na ako mapakali. Kinakabahan ako na excited na ewan. Good thing I'll be performing with my friends so I feel less tense since we'll be together on stage.

Pinag buksan ako ng kasama nina Dave sa bahay. The old lady lead me to the music room even though I already know the way there.

When the door opened, Clarisse, Dave and Lancelot were already inside. They were talking but only stopped when I entered to greet me.

"Mariya! Are you excited for later?" Clarisse giddily asked me and I can't help but to share the same feeling she has.

"Kinakabahan pero excited ako para mamaya." She gave me a huge smile.

I was about to sit down on the couch in front of them since we'll still be waiting for the others when, Lancelot tapped the space beside him.

I flushed when I understood what he mean. He wants me to sit beside him but I'm a bit embarrassed in front of our friends.

Nag kunwari naman na may ginagawa si Clarisse habang si Dave ay tumayo at lumapit sa mga instruments. I think they're giving us space at nahihiya ako dahil doon.

"Sana all." Kahit sobrang hina ay hindi nakaligtas sa pandinig namin ang binaggit ni Dave. Hindi niya ata napansin na narinig namin kaya hindi siya tumigil sa kakabulong. "Ubos na ink ng ballpen ko hindi pa rin nagre-reply yong babaeng yon. Tsk!" Lancelot tap me and put his pointing finger on his lips asking me to stay silent.

Clarisse on the other hand has this evil grin on her lips. Lancelot also signaled her to stay quiet and she nodded.

"Baka naubusan lang yon ng papel. Ang dami kong bond paper dito oh." I think he's talking about his pen pal. I thought, Lancelot is just joking about it but it's actually the truth. Hearing, David Elias now talking about pen and papers made me realize its true.

"Uso naman na ang facebook, Dave." Lance tried so hard not to laugh.

"Alam ko yon. Pero-" Dave stopped mid sentence upon realizing about what, Lancelot said. "Gago! Ang chismoso mo."

We burst out laughing when Dave massage his temple because of his mistake. He didn't realize we can hear him cos he thought we're busy.

Lance and Clarisse almost cried from laughing that I have to calm them down. Si Dave ngayon ay namumula na kaya mas lalo siyang inasar nong dalawa.

"Ang ingay niyo naman." Ernest complained the moment he arrived. And knowing Lancelot and Clarisse, they immediately told the story to Ernest which makes it more worst for Dave.

Ngayon ay pinag tulungan na siya ng tatlo habang paulit uliy nilang sinasabi ang mga kataga ni Dave kanina.

Dave has no choice but to remain on his seat. His also laughing from their craziness even if its about him.

Not too long until Fritzie arrived with King. They brought lots of food and water with them. May mga props din na susuotin daw namin para mag silbing trademark ng banda.

We will be wearing clover cleaf accessories. I will wear the headband with clover leaf on top as a symbol for lucky seven. Lancelot will wear the jacket, Clarisse's bass guitar is full of clover leaf stickers while Ernest will wear a sunglass that's form like a clover leaf even if its dark later. Dave will wear the shirt with clover leaf print but its too huge for him so he will just draw a clover leaf on his cheek later.
