After I agreed to go with Anthony he handed me a helmet and I got on the back of the bike. After what felt like the longest ride ever we came to a stop.
He took us to the top of a hill on the outskirts of LA, you could see everything out here.
"Wow that view." I walked close to the edge where there was a little bench completely mind blown by this amazing view.
"Yeah it's pretty great." He said sitting next to me.
"Why'd you bring me here." I turned to him.
"This is where I always imagined I'd ask you to marry me, don't worry that's not what I'm doing. I've got a counter offer." He paused breathing out, he seemed nervous.
"Come on the Californiacation tour with us?" I was gobsmacked.
"Before you say no just listen to my reasons why I want you to come. I want you to travel the world with us, your family. I want you to experience all the things you didn't get to last time because I'd the shit time we went through. I want you to be given the opportunity to explore your music career again and lastly I don't know if you'll ever forgive me for how I treat you back then, I don't know if you still want the things you wanted when you were 23 but all I do know is that I won't quit trying to make you happy and I won't quite trying to get your to forgive me and be mine again. I've never stopped loving you deep down and you don't have to answer yet, we don't leave until June so just think about it okay?" He finished his speech and put his arm around me holding me close as he noticed I got myself all teary eyed while he was talking.
"What about my job?" That was all I could think to say.
"You only live once Faye." He looked deeply into my eyes saying this. I couldn't help myself so I leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on his lips. Just as I remember. I knew I wanted to go but I still had a lot to think about, I mean I would be packing up my whole life again.

Months went by and it was now the beginning of June. I hadn't gave Anthony an answer but I knew they left tomorrow morning. We spoke on the phone nearly everyday, he was so busy sorting the tour out and with my work schedule we didn't get a chance to meet up again.
It was 12am again and my shows were over for the night. I saw my boss at the bar and I knew what I had to do. I knew what I want.
"Alan I need to speak to you." I walked right up to him handing him my keys to the bar.
"Don't you dare tell me your leaving." He glared right at me saying this.
"I'm sorry but I have been given an opportunity I can't pass up, thanks for everything." I kissed his cheek and ran off to find Fred.
"Hey sweetie, can I talk to you?" I asked him taking his hand and dragging him outside. I sat him down on the steps outside and broke the news to him that I'd be leaving for a while. He broke down which I hated.
"Look here is Anthony's number and the managers number so if you need me and can't get hold of me you ring one of them. I'm gonna come back, I'm not going to completely abandon you! You are my family." I said through the tears pulling him up for a hug before I left.
"Please enjoy it okay and don't let Anthony break your heart again. Your so strong." He took my face in his hands planting a kiss on my forehead.
"I promise you." I gave him one last hug before I had to tear myself away.
I ran back to my apartment to grab a quick nap and pack my suitcase. I shoved all I could in, not even folding it I just grabbed and chucked. By the time I woke up from my nap it was 7am, the bus left at 8am. I knew it was picking Chad up first because he lived closest to the studio so I decided to go to his house. I kind of wanted to surprise Anthony as well. I parked my car in his driveway and got my suitcase out as he opened his front door because the bus was here.
"Oh my god, your coming, your really coming with us?" He said running up to me and picking me up into a spin.
"Of course I am, Anthony doesn't know though I want to surprise him. He's probably been trying to call me all night." I laughed as I put my suitcase on the bus in the back room. It was a lot like the old tour bus we went on in 91' only better. It was cleaner, newer and the bunks looked comfier. As you walked on there was a table with two couches either side of it, there was a small kitchen area next to that and as you walked further down there was a door which led to 6 bunks. Then further down there was a small restroom and a lounge area where we kept all of our luggage.
Me and Chad got settled and next it was Fleas house where him and John were waiting. I sat on the table waiting eagerly for them to come on.
"Surprise!" I shouted jumping up and they got on the bus.
"Holy shit! Yessssss!" Flea screamed as he pulled me in for a hug. John was much quieter, gently pulling me in for a hug.
"Good to see you kid." He smiled at me as he continued to the back of the bus with his bags. Next was Anthony's house and I don't think I've felt this nervous in so long. He's probably worried sick I haven't returned any of his calls. I decided to hide in the lounge area and the rest of the guys played along.
I heard Anthony get on the bus.
"What are you all smirking at." He said in a serious tone.
"Oh nothing we're just excited for the tour." They all giggled as he walked to the back of the bus. I heard him open the door. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there smiling.
"You came." He said quietly as he dropped everything running over to me picking me up. I wrapped my legs around him burying my head into his neck. I felt his sigh of relief as he clung on to me as if I'd disappear any second. He eventually put me down and put both of his hands on my cheeks.
"You won't regret this I promise." I could see the tears in his eyes. That's when I knew he'd changed, when I knew he'd grown up. Maybe this would be it, I wasn't going to dwell on it but maybe just maybe this was were I was meant to be.
"Let's get this show on the road." Chad yelled as the bus pulled out of Anthony's drive. I was happy. I was with my boys again.
