None of them wants to sleep yet, they are enjoying the catching up session, specially the "do-you-remember-when's"..
"HB, would you believe 7 years na nga no, simula nung ma involve tayo sa isat isa, its a milestone for me ha, this is the longest relationship I have na "romantically" she giggles
"Are you happy being with me?" He sttaight up and sips his coffee
"I want you to answer first kasi you will feel it as well diba?"
"Aba, malay ko ba kung napipilitan ka na lang?"
She turned serious "you think?"
"Sana hindi" he laughs "ano nga?"
"Hmm, I'll be honest with you ha, ok lang?"
"Oo naman, dahan dahan lang ha para di masyadong masakit hehe"
"Baliw!" She pinched him "Minsan nalulungkot na ko, kasi I felt na "are you not proud of me? Why do we need to keep this relationship pa? I mean dont get me wrong, pwede naman natin syang gawing private, we can say to the world that we are together na. Period, tapos wala na tayong ibang sasabihin private na ulit, atleast they know that we are together right?"
He nods "Bernadette"
"Yeah nasabi ko lang I just want to be honest with you lang coz you asked diba?"
"Oo naman, oo i understand naman. and Im sorry if you felt na hindi ako proud sayo, pero that is not true. Alam mong sa lahat sobrang proud ko sayo, sa lahat ng aspekto ng buhay. Kung ako yung masusunod, pupunta ako ng lahat ng TV station tapos papa interview ako dun sasabihin ko na "OO, engaged na kami ni Kris 2017 pa" para lahat ng umaaligid sayo manahimik na eh" both laughs
"Really?" She asks
"wait lang kasi haha, you know its not that easy, hindi dahil sa hindi kita mahal, kundi dahil gusto kong protektahan kung anong meron tayo.. coz the moment na malaman ng mga tao na we are together, we will become a spectacle, we'll stop being you and me, and you know what im thinking? Nung private pa nga lang tayo eh, medyo nahihirapan na tayo pano pa kaya pag nag public na tayo?"
"Edi tatahimik lang tayo ganun"
"You know its not easy, you are Kris Aquino, for petes sake" he shook his head
"I know, but syempre babae din ako gusto ko lang din sana na, sabihin mo sa kanila na mahal mo ko and that someone is owning me"
"I know and deserve mo naman talagang ipagsigawan sa mundo no, ang kinakatakot ko lang is what if we are not ready? What if mangyari na naman yung nangyari nung 2014? They scratched us, kaya anong nangyari?"
"They destroyed us" she looked down
"Yon, alam ko Bernadette matalino ka and you understand where i am coming from, ayoko lang na lumabas tayo ng hindi tayo handa sa kung anuman yung mga mangyayari, and ayoko ng maulit yon" he stared at her "so please do not ever think na hindi ako proud na akin ka at sayo ako, never.. kasi kung regular na mga tao lang tayo, hay nako pag aaralan ko talagang mag post sa instagram araw araw para ikaw ang laman ng post ko, Sa ganda mong yan, naku maiinggit ang lahat ng lawyer at vice governor sa akin panigurado yan"
She burst into laughter, "hindi pa din tapos yang issue ng selosan? Hahah"
"Sinabi ko lang naman hahah"
"Ikaw Babe, are you happy being with me?"
He get his phone from his pocket and showed her his gallery, opened one of the albums labeled as "Bernadette" the album has their pictures together from selfies, to series of candid photos. He showed her his favorite photo of them, its their photo outside the Basilica of st. Francis in Rome.

He showed her Harlene's interview with PEP, the reporter ask if she likes Kris for him "Masaya si kuya, kapag sila"
"Sa dami ng resibo na pinakita ko sayo, kung hindi ko pa nasagot ang tanong mo kung masaya ako sa piling mo, hindi ko na alam hahah" he said laughing
She was touched, HB is not fan of this kind of cheesy converstations, he is more of actions, he dont usually tell her how much he love her and how happy he is whenever shes around.. He always answered indirectly, he is more of "read between the lines"
"Ikaw hindi mo pa sinasagot yung tanong ko" he said
"Ay hindi pa ba? Hmm wait competitive ako eh, let me think pano ko tatapatan yung sagot mo hahaha" 🤔🤔

She kissed him slowly and deeply "kahit palagi akong nagtatampo sayo, I am still the happiest when I am with you" she said in between their kisses. The night sealed with a kiss.
They slept together in her room. Kris head lying on his chest. His arms wrapped around her waist. He kissed her hair and whispered "Mahal na mahal kita"
