Beside You - RamKing

Chapter 13

With Ram carrying King in piggy-back style, the group started slowly approaching the house. Tee, Mek, Boss and Duen were carrying the rest of their suitcases right behind the other three, and a still speechless Bohn.

"How did you even found this place? Are all of you sure this is real here?"

His mouth was still wide open, making him a good target for a fly that almost flew in his mouth. 

"That's my families new vacation home. We sold our old two ones and had the constructions started like 2 years ago...", Kings phone answered, which was somewhere between Kings hands and Rams back.

"Wait... new house? how could you not tell us something like that hu? "

The group stopped and all just looked at Bohn while shaking their head.

"Hey.. what?...Ah; man that hurt!"

Bohn looked right next to him, trying to figure out who had just knocked their elbow in his ribs, only to notice that it was his boyfriend Duen. Without waiting for anything more, the group continued walking towards the house, leaving Bohn just standing there who was still flabbergasted.

"Okay so... there are four bedrooms on the top floor: right when you come up the stairs, there is a room on the right side. that one belongs to King and me. Left to it is Bohns and Duens bedroom, followed by Tees on the same side. And at the end of the corridor, Mek and Boss have their room."

Ram read the instructions from a sheet of paper, that his boyfriend had handed him earlier. It had a small drawn plan too, marking the different levels of the house and the locations of everything. 

"On the ground floor you can find the pool and a small lounging area. But the real cool thing, beside all of the plants of course, is on the bottom floor: an open room with couches, kitchen and game consoles to play."

"Who is for Mario kart later tonight", Tee asked while looking around and seeing the boys eyes sparkle. 

"Here" the whole group shouted simultaneously, King instead rising his fist in smiling brightly.

"How about this: we meet in 30 minutes at the pool with a couple of refreshments", Duen suggested and no one could really say anything against it.

"Thanks Duen for the help."

"No problem Ram. I'll see you in half an hour." Duen waved and left the room, before closing the door behind him.

When taking all the luggage upstairs, Duen had lend the two a hand, since Ram was already busy helping King up the stairs. 

"When you first told me that you had designed this vacation home I couldn't believe it. But looking around, this definitely embodies what you love." Ram was looking over his shoulder and smiling at King, who smiled back.

The whole house was quite modern but incorporated many natural elements, from wood to stone flooring, and of course all the flours and plants in and outside the house. If you would have to describe King by choosing a house, this would definitely be it. 

"I'm glad you like it. I hope this can be a place for many happy memories for us."

Ram couldn't hold back a wide smile before walking over to his boyfriend, who was currently lounging in a chair while looking outside. The younger's hands softly caressed Kings silk har, removing one or two strands from his face while following Kings glance. 

"How about... after university... we live here? We could go on long walks through the forest and have a garden where we grow our own food? And the others can come over on the weekends."
