Chapter 20

"Do you think he will come today?" Boss asked, while looking at the others and trying to solve the homework, which he, of course, had forgotten again. What a surprise.

"I could really need his help with this thing... I just don't get it." He sighed, putting the pen down and staring at the assignment of something related to electrical engineering. Why had he chosen to study this subject again?

"Ai'Boss, King is not your personal brain that you can borrow just because you have no clue about things", Tee told him, shaking his head and sipping a bit of his drink.

The friends were sitting on their regular table, waiting for the first class of the new semester to start.

"Here ", a note got placed on his open notebook and he looked at what seemed to be some complicated equations or something.

"Wait..." Boss turned around and looked up to the person that had just gave him the solution for the assignment.

"King!" the friends voiced out and stood up altogether, looking at their friend who had a happy smile on his face.

"We weren't sure if you would come already", Mek voiced out after they had sat down again on the table.

"Of course I would. Who would want to miss a lesson on electrical engineering?", The other asked confused, to which all members of the group lifted their arms.

"I think you are the only one who thinks of Professor Patthaya's class as a kind of religion King," Bohn countered and the others couldn't help but laugh.

"Did you walk all the way from the bus stop?" Tee suddenly asked, thinking about how that was at least a 15 minute walk. The other shook his hand with a smile, pointing at Ram who just came over after locking the bike up somewhere and sat down next to his boyfriend.

"Don't tell me Nong Ram carried you all the way here", Bohn joked, not able to resist to make a dumb statement about it, which was really nothing new. But he promptly regretted it when something hard hit his head.

"wha.. Ouch!" He held his head and looked up, seeing Duen with a book in his hand. God... why had he decided to date the Phi again? Sometimes he really couldn't figure out why.

"I think you deserved that", Boss whispered, while the rest couldn't help laughing.

Duen sat down between Ram and Bohn, but instead of looking at his pouting boyfriend, he turned to King.

"How are you feeling Phi? I haven't seen you since we came back from our vacation two weeks  ago", the younger said friendly and exchanged a glance with Ram. He knew that there were no major happenings, or else Ram would have called him out. Well.. his best friend still told him a couple of things, but it was probably nicer for King to talk about it himself.

"Physio therapy is going well," he explained with a small smile. "I can walk around 5 minutes in a slow pace before I feel like collapsing."

Duen slowly nodded, continuing to listen to the Phi.

"Oh yea and Ram moved in with me,"  the young man added casually, while drinking a big sip from his strawberry milkshake.

"Nong Ram did what?" Bohn and the rest of the group, except for Duen, looked at the two men in surprise, Ram currently very much focused on combing through Kings hair with a hand. 

"Why don't you seem surprised?" Bohn looked over next to him, where his boyfriend didn't seem to be shocked by the news at all.

"I already know that", Duen shrugged, stealing Bohn's shake and having a sip.
