Chapter 16

The next thing I realised was someone pulling me into his arms, carefully holding me in a half-sitting position and talking to me.

"Phi King... what happened?"

I slowly lifted my head to look up to him before giving Ram a weak smile.

"I'm okay... I just... my pills....and then...", I whispered but started slowly losing my voice at the end of the sentence.

His eyes went wide, staring at me for a couple of seconds, before carefully picking me up and starting to moving. It didn't took long and we entered our room, where he slowly placed me on the bed.

"I am back in a minute, okay? I'll get you your pills, some water and then i am right back."

Ram gave me a kiss on my head before hurrying out of the room.

* Rams PoV*

Leaving the room, I carefully closed the door, taking a deep breath. When I had woken up earlier, and couldn't find Phi King next to me, I started panicking. Had they kidnapped him again? What had happened?

My heart was still racing from when I had started searching our room and the bathroom, before hurrying downstairs to see... him laying there. My hands were still shaking, and even though I couldn't really calm myself down, I had to focus on Kings wellbeing now. 

Mere seconds later, I was in front of P'Bohn and Duens Door, softly knocking before opening it. 

"hm? Ram?"

Duen had sat up and looked at me, while P'Bohn was still sleeping. 

"it's.... please..."

Originally, I had put together what i wanted to ask him, but ... this situation had just come so unexpected.

Duen was quick to get out of the bed and follow me out, before closing the door behind himself.

"Okay I know it's an emergency or else you wouldn't have woken me up... how can I help?" 

We were quickly walking down the stairs before I turned on the light and our eyes widened. There were pieces of glass on the floor as well as bloody footprints. 

"Can you take care of that? and than come up with the first-aid kid?" 

He looked me in the eyes before nodding and starting to take care of .... it. In the meantime, I got a glass of water out and thankfully found P'Kings pills quickly, before going back up the stairs and entering our room. 

"I am back", I softly said, turning the light on before placing the pills and the water on our nightstand and helping him sit up.

"Everything is okay now. I am here."

My hand held his while I was kneeling in front of him, trying to get a good look at everything.

"I remember."

My face went soft and I reached out with my hand to his head, slowly caressing it and giving him a warm smile.

"It's okay Phi... I am here for you. What happened to you will never happen again.  I will always be next to you and protect you...okay'"

"okay", he whispered weakly and gave me a small smile.

"Let's take your medicine and then I will make sure that your wounds get cleaned and bandaged, is that okay?"

He nodded and then wrapped his arms around me, softly rubbing his head against my chest, while I also wrapped my arms around him. It must have been scary to him and if I thought back to all of the wounds he got from the kidnapping... remembering any of the things that might have happened... It wrenched my heart knowing he had to see it all over again.
