"Blood", I muttered, looking at my hand that was stained with dirt and a bit of blood. 

With heavy breaths, I tried to turn from laying on my right side, to my back. My chest felt tight, my heart pounding against the bones in such a fast pace that it could jump out of my thorax any second and just go on a run. Slowly, i lifted my arm and carefully pressed a finger against different parts of my upper body. I could feel something that would surely become a bruise in the next hours on my left, but the area that was most in pain were my ribs. This surely must have happened earlier, when they were kicking me...

My glance went from my body around in the small dark room, but I could barely see anything. There was a small window, probably around 20cm wide and 15cm high and definitely too small to get through. The other exit of this place was a metal door and I could be sure that the guys from earlier wouldn't be as stupid as leaving the door open. 

"You'll be alright King...  Ram... I have to get back to him", I could hear my lips repeating  without really actively deciding to do so. I had to find a way to calm myself down and think straight. I got them from killing me instantly to torturing me for seven days and then letting me go...

Well I couldn't be sure of that. Who would believe a deal made with thugs that kidnap and kill people?

My heart was racing and I had trouble catching my breath, my hand with the cut clinging onto my chest. This... were those the memories that my brain had tried bringing back and which made me wake up in panic? 

'Calm down King... You have to get back to Ram ', I repeated in my head a couple of times to relax a little, till I could feel my heart beating at a normal pace.

'Everything is fine... i am not there anymore..'

Carefully, I picked the other pieces of glass up again and got myself up, slowly walking to the trash can and putting all the pieces I found  inside. I looked over my shoulder to the stairs, but there was still no noice from the upper floor, so no one should know that something was going on. Good. Washing off the blood... taking care of the injury...then back to bed. I could do it.

Instead of going right upstairs, i decided to use the sink in the kitchen to wash off the blood and clean the cut I got from the glass.  I opened the water with my left hand and could feel the cold water touching my skin...

My eyes shot open when I felt something cold hitting my skin and I looked up to the guy, who had seemingly just poured water over me. I tried moving, but soon got obvious to the fact that I was tied onto some kind of table. And there was another thing I got obvious of...

"Good morning and welcome to day number two. It's sad that you passed out yesterday and missed all the fun... so we thought we increase the difficulty today."

I gulped, biting my teeth together and just took a deep breath. You could do this King... you have to go back to Ram... 

I could feel something tightening around my neck and tried moving myself, which only made the ties on my hand and feet cut into my skin. The burning pain made me change my expression, biting my teeth harder together, before the pain around my neck suddenly started increasing. I could feel my blood pulsating and all of it running in my head.
