Chapter 5

《Hey guys...

What's up with you? I went to bed with like 92 views (should be around 5am my time today) and woke up to 115 views rn (1pm my time). Are you so hungry for another update or is someone using magic to increase the views here?

I mean I am very happy that so many people seem to find my story interesting, but it seems as if I might need to either post a Chapter a day here, or increase the views needed for a new chapter.

Anyway, as I promised, I'ma start writing this right now ;)》

The door to the loungeroom slowly opened after a knock, letting the psychatrist enter, before the same man closed the door again.

He politely greeted Kings crew and took a seat close to the couch.

Both Bohn and Kumfah had calmed down a little, but they were still sitting there shocked and heartbrocken.

Contrary to Kings reaction to Ram, there was no reaction from  king to both of them, two of the most important people in his life. They were both scared, that he would end up in some vegetative state, something they had only seen in TV shows and were scared of. King was just a young adult, 21 at this time, he had his full life in front of him. And it would break their hearts if that was everything.

"Where is Ram?"

Duen looked around and was confused, since his best friend didn't enter the room with the doctor, and the others recognised that Doctor Thara was also missing.

"Um... did something happen?"

Bohn slowly asked, truthfully being a bit scared that something happened to the junior. Yea, they hated each other originally, but Bohn could see the love in every cell of Ram for his best friend. And since King wasn't in any position to take care or worry about Ram, he would try to do his best.

"He's okay. We just made him rest a little bit in another room. "

Some of the others nodded before looking at Tong, waiting for news.  The mood was different than earlier.

It wasn't as lighthearted as when they knew King woke up. The rest of Kings family and friends seeing how both Kumfah and Bohn come back devasted, and the story of what happened that followed after the entrance, made everyone in the room feel depressed. This didn't look good at all...

Until then they at least had the hope, that maybe his physical injuries were way worse then any psychological damage he suffered.  But after the two described how lifeless King laid there, not even reacting to those two voices he knew since he was small...

It made everyone realize that the old King might never come back. Or even worse... that King might be lost... while still being somehow alive...

The psychatrist could sense the heavy feelings in the room and was even more happy that he had at least some 'good' news to share.

"Earlier, when King woke up, Doctor Thara and I went to King for me to assess the situation and state he is in. When he woke up, though his face was expressionless and there were no micro expressions, his body strongly reacted with fear when Doctor Thara was close to him. We then increased the distance and seemingly, King is fine as long as no one comes closer to him then 2m"

Tee gulped.

"His face didn't showed any reaction but his body did? What does it mean?", Tee asked, unsure what the information was all about.

"King seems to be scared of people being physically close to him. His body clearly showed fear and anxiety, which manifested in a increased heartbeat, a faster breathing, as well as his body shivering or trembling. But even in this situation, there were no signs in his face that he was obvious to what happend. There was nothing that indicated fear in his face. It was more like, his body reacted but his mind wasn't there.."
