Chapter 8

《Hey everyone, I decided to give this a small update, a really small one, since I didn't decide yet if I  will really permanently pause this or if I'll come back after my trip.

* Kings PoV *

A dream...

No. It was more like a nightmare...

But in the end...

They were memories.

First, there were just little glimpses of what happened, a blink and eveything was gone.

Sound, feelings and pictures disconnected from each other, crashing my head. Confusing me what happened when, what belonged together. Which scene showed which pain?

But even those small pieces of memories were horrendous enough. I wasn't sure about what happened before or after, but the emotions and pain of those small scenes pierced my mind with broken glass.

Like blades.

The more often I fell in the darkness and hell of sleep, the clearer everything got. These blinks of happenings, nothing more then a mere second, started to evolve into cracks of scenes, small parts were missing but it was like a puzzle.

Slowly every piece got put together, and with only adding one, the pain was tenfold. 

I felt like being in a hurricane, getting thrown into something, picked up again and circled before hitting something again.

There was no end to the pain in my mind.

Though I had already physically escaped this hell... I was mentally held like a prisoner. Being fed by the tremendous emotions, by the pictures of those tortures... holding onto the only thing that could keep me alive.

Him.

Only Him...

* Rams PoV*

It felt like forever that we stayed in this position. Him just leaning against me, while I kept caressing his head, trying to savor the moment as much as possible. It felt like the burdens had been lifted off my shoulders, the tangled feelings in my heart being gone for the moment.

The warmth of him kept embracing me, making me feel at home.

When we finally put a bit of distance between us and looked at each other, I couldn't keep myself from smiling and feeling as if the heavens were on our side today.

" How did you thought of this? And the gloves?"

I looked at the others, when I finally remembered that there were more people then just us in this room. My cheeks were a bit red and flushed, having shown a very intimate moment to this bunch of people.

"Actually it wasn't our idea", Duen said and gave me a big smile.

Not? Then who....

"Yesterday, when you went out for a bit,  King gave me a signal... I have actually no idea how i understood it, but I put my phone in front of his left hand and he typed ' gloves and long clothes '. "
