Beside You - RamKing

Chapter 22

Ram pulled King's body closer against his chest, more and more tears flowwing over the brim of his  wimpers and staining his face.

"How could you dad? How oculd you do this?"

Steps were heard in the background, but Ram was too entangled in his emotions to really notice it. His hands were trembling, trying to hold onto his boyfriend for life... who didn't move anymore.

"Panawut Screaigh" a sudden voice spoke up and Ram raised his head, eyes widening in shock. He looked at all the people that were now standing in the room, dressed in black police uniforms with pistols in their hands.

"I am arresting you on suspicion of kidnapping, torturing and the attempted murder of King Sanguandikul ... you do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence."

Ram's father tightened his jaw, slowly placing the gun on the ground before handcuffs got placed  around his hands and he got escorted out of the room.

"Wha..." Ram blinked confused what was happening when he could feel movement in his arms.

"Phi!"

He pulled the other one closer, who had suddenly opened his eyes and looked at him in a pained expression.

"I am so sorry I didn't tell you about it..."

One of the police officers cam closer, kneeling down right in front of him and carefully taking off the handkuffs off King, who held his wirsts and sat up with Ram's help.

"Are you alright?" The officer asked, and King could only nod.

"Please let yourself get checked in the hospital if you have any injuries. We will need you to come to the police station for your complete statement, but with all the evidence there shouldn't be a problem to prosecute him, so don't worry."

The officer smiled friendly before excusing himself, and was suddenly replaced by Mew and Gulf. Ram glared at them, the two older ones gulping hard and just helping King and Ram up, before they slowly headed out of the room and back to the black car, that the two bodyguards had driven  to the mansion. Once in the back seat of the car, King carefully removed the red stained shirt, exposing a bullet proof vest below it, and slowly taking it off.

In the mean time, Gulf reached out for something in the cupboard of the car, a small dose of pills and opened ot, before placing one in Kings trembling hand. Yes, he ahd known that doing this would bring himself into immense danger, maybe even the hospital again... but what he certainly had not expected were those videos... his cries...

Kings body shuttered and his free hand reache out for Ram's shirt to hold onto it.

"shh it's fine", the younger said softly, pulling his boyfriend in a tight hug to ease his anxiety and softly patting the older's back.

It took a while for him to calm down, until the trembling and fear almost disappeared, Ram helping him with getting him some water so he could take the anxiety medication, that Gulf had placed in the car -  just in case something like this happened.

Mew in the driver seat started the car and drove them back home to their apartment, the two bodyguards standing outside the front door while Ram headed in, carrying a sleeping King. There were many questions in the younger one's head, but he knew that pushing his boyfriend right now would only make him feel bad, so he would wait until the other started talking and explaining it on his own. He had seen a couple of seconds of the footage... and have had trouble not throwing up by the pictures and his boyfriends screams, but he could imagine it being much worse for the older, who actually experienced this... and hwo had to see what happened to him again.
