"Ace! Get over here!", demanded Ally as she waved furiously at him; a turtle in a school of fish.
Ace looked over, raising his eyebrows as he casually sauntered over towards her. He had broken up with her at prom, yet they still talked as friends.
"What is it, Ally?", Ace asked, scratching the back of his neck. Ally's chest nut hair cascaded down her shoulders the same way it always did.
"Well, I want to help you.", she smiled slightly, twirling her hair in nervousness.
Ace remembered when she twirled her hair before they did it. She was so nervous, yet so ready. Ace snapped out of his thoughts, and raised an eyebrow.
"Help me with what?", he asked.
"To get Adam to fall in love with you."
Ace's eyes widened. Was she actually going to help him? He gulped, "H-How?"
Ally flashed a grin at him before saying, "You'll see."

Adam knew that Ace was in love with someone. He had to figure out who it was. His eyes wandered across the room, scanning everyone like a robot.
He spotted Mark. Maybe it was him. After all, they did hang out a lot. He pretty handsome, but Adam wouldn't ever think of him in the same sense as Ace.
The whole Ace being gay thing still confused Adam so much. Ace had done it with some girls, dated so many of them, yet still managed to be gay? Or was he hooking up with some guy behind his back?
"He has a boyfriend!", exclaimed Adam loudly. Everyone gave him a suspicious look, but went back to talking.
Adam turned around, "Mark! Psst, hey Mark!", he whispered. Mark turned to face him.
"Hey Adam.", he said with a perplexed smile.
"Are you and Ace hooking up?"
Man, this guy is straight forward, thought Mark.
"Dude, I'm straight.", Mark answered. He smirked, "Your friend's a loser No one likes him anymore."
"I still like him.", answered Adam softly.
"Awwh, do we have ourselves a romance blooming between two losers?", remarked Mark, mocking Adam.
"Shut up. He's gotten with more girls than you ever will.", yelled Adam.
"Girls, my ass. I bet half of them were guys.", he laughed.
Adam was about to remark when a famous pair of green eyes came from behind.
"Let the asshole be, Adam. He's just trying to get on your nerves. We all know he's angry because he's got a tiny penis."
The guys behind Mark went, "Oohhh!"
Mark grit his teeth, "Shut up."
Ace grinned like the handsome devil he was.
This was exactly why Adam was friends with Ace.
Mark turned back to his friends, and Ace ruffled Adam's hair.
"Thanks Addy.", he smiled. Adam flinched but smiled like a little school boy.
Ace took a seat in front of Adam, and stared at the board.
Adam played with his fingers, "Ace?"
"Yeah?"
Adam didn't know what he was going to say. It was pretty obvious that Ace did not like Mark. So who could it be?
"If you call me Addy at school people are going to think we're dating.", Adam laughed.
"Fuck the police. I can call you Addy if I want to.", Ace retorted, with a smirk.
"Ace, when school's over, I need to talk to you."
"Got it."

Ace's heart pounded against his chest as Adam ran to his side.
"I got two Twinkies. Want one?", Adam offered, looking up at Ace.
"No thanks. I'm fine.", Ace declined, but quickly took the Twinkie from the bag. Adam smiled, "I'm guessing it's opposite day."
"You said you wanted to talk to me about something?", Ace asked, hoping for something impossible.
"Have you ever dated a guy?", Adam questioned with a serious look on his face.
"No, I haven't. The guy I like doesn't know I have feelings for him, hell, he's straight.", Ace shrugged, sighing heavily. He wished he could tell Adam he loved him; he wished he had the strength to handle the possible rejection.
"Oh, sorry to hear that, man.", Adam rested a hand on his shoulder sympathetically.
"I don't even think he'd ever like me back that way.", Ace added, tears forming in his eyes.
"Don't cry, bro!", Adam wrapped his arm around Ace's neck comfortingly. "I will make sure this guy falls in love with you!"
"I mean, who couldn't love your devilish smile?", smiled Adam.
You, thought Ace.
"Tell me who he is. I'll punch him until he falls for you!", grinned Adam encouragingly. Ace pulled away, wiping his tears, "I can't tell you."
"Why not? I'm trying to help you!"
"If I told you, you wouldn't help me anymore."
"Why? I'm your best friend! I don't care who it is!"
"I c-can't. It wouldn't be the same anymore."
"If I really am your best friend you'd tell me."
"You are, but I-"
"Tell me!"
Ace froze for a second, before hugging Adam tightly.
"It's you, moron."
