Chapter 11

Reginas POV

I woke up before my alarm not wasting one second I had to see Emma and make sure she was ok well as ok as she could be I dropped Henry off and went to the school. I started with the library "hey belle" the brunette looked up at me and gave me a smile "morning miss Mills" I smiled back "have you seen Emma" her smile faded "she was here for a couple minutes but she seemed off she wouldn't even look up from the ground she came in and left" something was wrong "ok thanks belle" I looked all over but no luck I went back to my classroom students came in but still no sign of Emma... a minute before the bell rang she came in and sat down not looking up this worried me more I started my lesson when I finished I sat down staring at the blond trying to figure out what was happening out of nowhere she jumped and winced barley noticeable but I've spent enough time with her to know she lifted her hand "may I go to the bathroom please" I nodded she left she jolted again I waited 5 minutes and she was still nowhere to be seen I left the room asking a teacher to watch my students I went in the bathroom to see Emma curled up in a ball on the floor "EMMA" I ran to her and held her "what happened" before she could say something I felt a shock she started to cry "m-make It stop" I was panicking I didn't know what it was hurting her she held out her wrist and I saw a bracelet I didn't recognize I looked for a way to take it off I couldn't find one "can I cut it or something" she ripped her wrist away "no he will notice and it will get worse" I had to take this thing off I found something "wait I think I got it" I heard a click and the bracelet fell off I pulled her up and held her "it's ok it's off I've got you" she cried "why does this happen to me" I rubbed her back "I don't know but I'm getting you out I promise" I grabbed her wrist gently not to hurt her there were burn marks all over it the bracelet was still going off every five minutes I picked it up and took Emma back to class there was only 10 minutes so I can take her to my office to help her after class. The bell rang and I told Emma to go to my office I waited the door opened and I hugged the girl "I was so scared I'm so sorry Emma I shouldn't have left you in there" she broke the hug "you and Henry are safe that's all that matters I told you I can handle myself" she was clearly trying to act brave but her voice kept cracking "Emma I don't expect you to just be ok" a single tear escaped her eye "but everyone else does so I have to be until this is over I have to be ok and normal and not broken" I wiped her tear away "you can be broken with me" soon as those words left my mouth she broke down and cried it my arms for a while "thank you" she whispered "anytime" I got up "I have to put the bracelet back on and go back" this broke my heart "Henry misses you" she smiled "I miss him too...and you" I blushed "you can come back tonight and sleepover" her smile faded "no I can't not for a while they know who you are and that your helping me that puts you at risk I have to distance myself for a while give him a hug from me and tell him I'm ok and that I'll see him soon tell him the whole thing was a joke" I didn't wanna lie to Henry but he wouldn't understand "I promise I will get you out of here" a tear rolled down her face "I know you will" she took the bracelet and left my office and that's when tears fell from my eyes

Emma's POV

I was so great full for Regina but she meant to much to me to put her in danger again and Henry he was only a kid this was all to much for him to understand maybe one day I'll get the chance to tell him and teach him the difference between a toxic and healthy relationship the day was coming to an end so I put the bracelet back on and got shocked god that never gets any less painful I got in the car with James there was just silence we drove back to the strip club but it was empty I was pushed into a chair and tied up I started to get a little freaked out "what are you doing" no one answered me James set up a camera "say your goodbyes to your loved ones" what was he taking about "goodbyes what are you doing" he smiled "we don't need you anymore so I thought I would be generous enough to give you time to record a message to your loved ones before you die" die what no no no I don't wanna die anymore "w-what" he rolled his eyes "god are you that dumb I play the video you say bye bye then you die" guess this was it he hit play "when you see this I'll be dead it will be for the better I have a message for each of you Ruby you've been nothing but kind since we met and I'm so glad I did I'm sorry for lying to you I did it to protect you from people this means I succeeded you are safe thank you for everything you and granny were the closest thing to family I've ever had I love you.
Mom and dad I know I never got to meet you but I hope you were what I dreamed and I also hope you are safe once I'm gone I forgive you for giving me up and I hope you guys get over me I love you.
Regina I haven't known you for long but you are an amazing person that didn't run you made me feel safe again I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye to you or Henry tell him he's a good kid and I love him I hope you don't ever forget me I never got to say it but I love you more then I should but I don't care your not the evil queen your Regina Mills take care of yourself thank you for your help with everything.
