Chapter 12

Reginas POV

I got a call from my mom and I don't think I've ever answered a phone so quickly "hello" "Regina we found them I'll send you the address to meet at" I shot up "omg thanks I'll get Ruby and granny" I hung up and ran to granny's I opened the door and asked the first person I saw "hi I'm looking for Ruby and granny" she smiled "that would be me and why do you need me and granny" I was in a hurry "Emma is in danger and we need to get you and granny to a safe place before we can get to her" her eyes went in to full panic "danger what is going on" I rolled my eyes "the more you ask the longer she's in danger get granny and let's go" she didn't start anything she got granny and got in the car I started driving as fast as I could "ok what the hell is happening" I kept my eyes at the road ready to answer all their questions "Emma's been beat up for years by her boyfriend" Ruby and granny's eyes went wide "w-what I didn't even know she had a boyfriend" "that was the point he knew about you 2 and Emma's parents so she's forced to stay once I found out about it I promised to find her parents and get them and you out of danger then to go after her" they were speechless "why would she tell you and not me" "one there's not much you could do two I found her getting beat in an ally way and shot at the guy and took her back to my house" "wait your her new friend she was staying with" I smiled thinker of her telling her that "yes" we pulled up "let's go" we got out of the car and went inside I saw my mother and hugged her when I let go I saw miss Blanchard and David then it kicked in "your Emma's parents" my jaw dropped "did you know marry Margaret's eyes watered she nodded slowly "this whole time and you didn't say anything do you have any idea the pain she's been through the pain she's still going through" I was pissed "we couldn't they had us to we didn't want to make things worse for either of us you think I wanted to be quiet you think I didn't want my daughter back" I was gonna fight back but my mother stopped me "you wanna keep fighting or get Emma back" I walked away and went in the car with my mom "you really like her don't you" I looked at her panicking about what to say "it's ok Regina I support you" I let out a breath "it's complicated and not something I want to discuss" she nodded we had cars surrounding the strip club ready to charge

Emma's POV

He stopped the tape untied me and pulled me towards a tank he threw me in closed the door he smiled and pulled a button that triggered water to start filling up in the tank it was freezing cold and filling up fast every minute I thought about the people I loved and leaving them I needed Regina to bust down that door and get me out I wanted a normal life I wanted my parents tears were falling the water kept getting higher and higher it was getting harder and harder to keep myself up Its so cold I feel like giving up and letting him kill me but I hear Reginas voice telling me not to give up that's all I had left the I had an inch of space left so I took a breath and I watched as James smirked at me watching me die I'm trying everything in my power the stay awake but I'm running out of time it's too late I can't do it anymore then it went dark.

Reginas POV

"Go go go" we all ran in it was empty there was a curtain they opened in and ran in we saw a very shocked James and Emma in a some kind of tank floating there passed out "EMMA SOMEONE BREAK THE GLASS GET HER OUT OF THERE" a group of people arrested James and his other friends while the other group started hitting the glass it was cracking they got the last hit and the tank shattered Emma was on the ground basically blue the water was freezing I ran over to her and put her head on my lap "come on Emma not yet it's not your time I found your parents I got you out my promise means nothing if your dead come on wake up" Then I thought of it the first time she tried to drown herself I leaned in and did mouth to mouth again it took a second but she spit out water and went into a coughing fit I held her "god you can't scare me like that" she smiled "you did It my hero" I was now in tears scared to lose her "I'm ok" she said quietly "but you almost weren't Emma I know I said we can't work but you almost dying on me scared me a lot and I couldn't imagine my life without you Emma swan will you be my girlfriend" she smiled so bright "Of course I will" I leaned in and connected my lips with hers we broke the kiss "if me almost dying again got you to ask me to be your girlfriend this should have happened a while ago" she laughed and I lightly hit her "not funny swan" she giggled "but it is" I picked her up and got her a towel and wrapped it around her i brought her to the car and set her down soon as we got in the car she leaned her head on the window and fell asleep she was peaceful till five minutes later she jolted up crying "Emma" she grabbed my hand "it was just a nightmare" she leaned her head on my lap and fell back asleep when we got to the apartment I woke her up "Emma wake up" she stirred a little and opened her eyes "you ready to meet her parents" she got up "I look awful what kind of an impression is that" I giggled "Emma I don't think your parents will care about the outfit just that your alive and safe plus you've already meet them" that left Emma with a confused look "come on" I got out of the car and opened her door and grabbed her hand I held it till we got to the door Emma opened the door ready to finally meet her parents
