Adelaide's Pov

It's been 3 months since our last encounter with the man and the little girl and somehow Peter got to convince me into becoming a superhero...

*Two months ago*

"Come on Del! We have fought 3 bad guys in the last 2 weeks, you cannot decline my idea" Peter said as we were walking out the school campus.

" I don't know Pete. After the field trip, I didn't think that my life will come to this" I answered honestly.

" It's not what I also expected after that! But I also want to help the city!" Peter explained, " This is the last time I'm gonna ask this, will you become a superhero and fight crime with me? " He asked softly

I stopped walking, thinking about my decision...

"...Fine! But I want to make a promise" I turned to Peter, "We only have to do simple deeds around the city and not capture something big because we have the cops for that, got it! "

"Ok! I can agree with that" He replied.

*A week later*

" This costume is so tight on me! Why do you have a onesie!" I complained as I adjusted my Black and White costume.

" This is the only one that I wanted, you purposely choose that!" He replied before swinging from building to building

I let out a grunt and swing behind him

*Present day*

"Dude! Have you seen the new super heroes in the city?"

" I know right! They're a great duo! "

" The girl with the black and white suit has curves! "

" I heard they're called The Spider Duo"

"I believe their names are Spider-Man and Web-Girl"

Yup! That's our super hero names.

I entered the room where we have our Academic Decathlon meetings.

"Hey MJ!" I greeted as I sat beside her.

"Hey Adelaide! How do you feel about the spider duo?" MJ asked

"I mean, they're just another super hero it's not something new" I nervously answered and she gave me a weird look.

We began the meeting before Peter interrupted.

"Sorry I'm late!" Peter apologized and sat in front of me

"Late on your first day on the team Mr. Parker! That's a warning"

"Sorry sir, it won't happen again"

We were stopping 2 robbers who robbed a jewelry store as the police came over.

"You guys are fast" one of the cops said

"We were just around the neighborhood and saw these men with bags!" Peter explained to the officers.

"Well good job!" The other officer thanked us

"We gotta go, have a nice day!" I waved before swinging unto a bridge.

"Still having second thoughts on becoming a super hero?" Peter asked as he sat beside

"It's kinda fun catching bad guys but it's also stressful if we don't succeed" I answered

"But at least you're having fun!" Peter made a point before we saw a kid in a bicycle headed towards a truck

We swing towards the kid and caught him before the truck hit him

"You alright kid?" I asked

"Thank you so much!" The kid thanked us before his father came up to us

"Thank you! I should've known that my son was gone!" The man thanked us before walking away with his son.

"Wanna get some churros?" Peter suggested and I nodded in agreement, since I was a little hungry.
