chapter 20

Time for school yay(note the sarcasm) quick shower the got dress I grabbed my backpack and phone and headed downstairs "hey mom" I say "hey sweetie" she replies "what ya doing"I asked *oh you know business stuff" she smiles "business stuff huh?" I say trying to see who's she texting "oh look at the time she says looking at her watch your gonna be late for school" she says pushing me out the door.

That was weird I thought today I felt like walking I kinda like walking then driving you can enjoy the warm breeze and the beautiful sky I'm a nature person as I was walking I seen a boy get beat up by these other boys he was getting his ass kicked may I add I looked closer at the boy who was getting beat up he had blonde hair my eyes widened it was matt

I walked over to them "what the fuck are doing" I say "beat it princess this is none of your business" one of the boys reply "actually it is my business if your beating up one of my friends" I say "and what are you going to do about it" the boy say's .

"I might just have to kick your ass" I say giving him a side smirk him and his friends start laughing I start punching the guy left from right matt pulls me off of him the boy starts spiting out blood I pull out a pocket knife "now leave of  before someone's gets hurt I'm not afraid to go to jail" i warn "your lucly your girlfriend was here ill be back" the boy smirks then they all start running away I put the pocket knife back intoy pocket

I turn to matt "you carry a pocket knif" he says cocking an eyebrow "I use it for protection" I shrug he smiles "so what's your name?" he asked I give him an confused expression "matt you know who I am?" I say "Riley?" He says "uh yeah" I say in a duh tone "I  didn't recognize you did you dye your hair" he says "didn't you see me yesterday you know when you we're fighting jack" I asked "well yeah but it was dark so i thought your hair was brown still" he replies I nod

"Why did you help me? I thought you hated Me" he questions "I do still hate you but I promised you I would always be there for you" I say in a monotone he smiles "why were those guys beating your ass" I asks "don't worry about it" he says "bye matt" I say "I can't tell you if they found out i told you they would kill you" he says I nod "well I have to go"I say walking away "Riley wait!" he says grabbing my wrist "I hope that you know I'm really sorry" he says

"Matt just save your apologies okayI have to go I don't want to be late for school" I say trying to get out of his grasps "please Riley let me explain" he replies "fine" I huff "after school meet me at the coffee shop across the street" I say "okay" he says I walk away "make sure to wash that blood off your mouth" I yell to him "I will" he yells back I chuckle a little.

"Hey cam" I say "hey" he smiles "where is everyone I asked at the courtyard as usual" Cameron replies I nod "so I hear you and jack went on a date" Cameron smirks *it was just a one time thing" I reply  "I heard he's asking you to homecoming" Cameron replies "is that so?" I say "yup" he says popping the "p "I head into class I sat next to Andrea (andrea russet) she's new to our crew "hey drea" I say that's her nickname from me "hey Ri" she smiles "so are you going to homecoming" I asked

"Yes actually Nash asked me" she says my smile turns into a frown "that's great!" I say giving her a fake smile the teacher walks In and begins the boring lesson I know this sounds crazy but I kinda miss Nash we haven't talked since I broke up him i guess he wants nothing to do with me I can't blame him though I left him for matt worst mistake I ever made.

The bell rang I was the first one to leave class I walk into the lunch room and seat at our table I look over at matt who was talking to Taylor don't think i forgot my evil plan for him i don't care how many times he apologies to me I will get my revenge everyone stops talking and looks behind me then back at me they start smirking "what?" I say jack j turns me around.

I gasps jack g was holding a bouquet of flowers they we're pink orichids my favorite flower then there we're two cheerleaders holding a banner that said Riley homecoming? Spelled out "awe jack!" I say giving him a big hug I wrapped my arms around his neck "so is that a yes" he smiles "yes I would love to go to homecoming with you" I smile every one in the lunch room cheers but our table was the loudest I kissed Jack on the cheek.

After school I went to go meet matt at the coffee shop I walk across the street I see him seating at a table next to the window I walk over to him he looks up and smiles at me I give him a small smile and sit down across from him "for a minute I thought you weren't going to show up" he says breaking the silence "believe me I was thinking about it" I say he nods "so spill tell me why you did that bet" I say "okay well at Britney's party we we're playing truth or dare I chose dare when it was my turn she dared me to get you to say I love you at first I wasn't going to do it but after the party I was walking him and she followed me she told me if I didn't do the Dare she would get her people to kidnap you" he finishes

"Why would she get people to kidnap me  just because you didn't want to do the dare" I asked cocking an eyebrow "because she wants to ruin you she doesn't like you and she's very Rich she could her dope dealers to kidnap you in a snap" matt says "she sells dope" I asked "yeah she's the boss, I actually work for her that's why those guys were jumping me earlier because I tried to quit but once your in you can't get out" he says I nod "so do you forgive me" he says

"Matt i want to forgive you but i cant trust you anymore" "please! I can't live without my world anymore it's crushing me your the love of my life Riley" he says "I have to go my mom is probably worried about me" I say "okay" he sighs I walk home I unlock the door and walk in I closed the door behind me and lock the door "mom I'm home" i yell no one answers I walk into the living room to see my mom and my brother

"Ryan!!!!" I screech "Riley!" he says mocking me I jump into his arms "what are you doing here I thought you were in college" I say "I was but I decided to come visit you and mom for spring break" he says I nod and we pull apart "let's go eat" my mom says as she clap her hands together.
