chapter 21:Friday homecoming day

"Riley wake up" Maggie shakes me I groaned "I don't wanna" I say in a sleepy voice "are you still mopping about matt?" she says "what no!" I say jumping up "let's just get your revenge already" Maggie replies

I smirk "what's your plan?" she smiles "I'm gonna found out if he has a big secret if he does then I'm gonna expose him" I smile deviously "I want in" Maggie replies "why do you want I" I ask "he hurt my best friend you think I'm just gonna sit there" Maggie says

I smile "anyway what does your dress look like?" Maggie smiles  I walk over to my closet I grab out my homecoming dress "omg that's so pretty" Maggie says "thanks" I smile "your gonna look so beautiful in that" she smiles "yeah I hope jack likes it" I reply "I know he will and what are you guys anyway?" she asked

"Were just friends that's all" I reply "oh really" she smirks "yeah jacks cute and all but I'm just not ready for a relationship" I say Maggie nods "we should go to the mall" she smiles "okay" I reply I put on my jogger pants and jack sweater that he got me as a gift I slip on my black vans and grab my keys and phone "ready?" I asks "yup* Maggie says we hop in my car and head off to the mall.

We walk inside "I'm starving" I say "let's go to the food court then" Maggie smiles "I want subway" I reply I walk into the subway line and order me a chicken sandwich with everything on it and sprite I take a seat at an empty table Maggie sits across from me she takes a bite of her sand which I start laughing "what's so funny?" she says *you have mayo on your lips" I say laughing even more "oh shut up" she smiles wiping it off suddenly Maggie stops laughing she has a sad expression on her face "what?" I say cocking an eyebrow

She points behind me I look behind me and see Matt and his new girlfriend Rebecca (Rebecca black) I frown and look back at Maggie "I'm sorry" she says "its okay" I say giving her a small smile "it doesn't matter anyway I'm totally over him" I say "yeah" she smiles "let's go shopping and get our mind off of boys" she says grabbing my wrist and pulling me into Victoria secrets "why are we in Victoria secrets" I asked because I need more undergarments she says I laugh "does this look sexy or what" Maggie says holding a black lace bra "super sexy" I say she smiles after that we went to a couple of stores then went home to get ready for homecoming .

I change into my dress (outfit in pic) I sit at my vanity I put on red lipstick and mascara and eyeliner I put a little foundation and eye shadow I curl my hair then pin it into a bun leaving my bangs out I spray a little perfume on then I put on some jewelry I got to my closet and grab my gold heels slipping them on.

"Wow Riley you look beautiful" Maggie smiles "thanks you look beautiful" I say admiring her red dress "thanks" she smiles "Riley the guys are here" my mom shouts "coming" I yell I look out the window to see a black limo I grab my clutch purse I put my phone and money in too it Maggie heads downstairs and I follow Maggie walks down the stairs first then me I slowly walk down the stairs everyone looks at me in awe I felt like Cinderella I smile walking up to jack g

"Wow Riley you look amazing" he smiles "thanks you look handsome" I smirk he chuckles "thanks" he says "awe you guys look cute let me take a picture" my mom says we all take a group picture then just the girls  then me and jack "okay have fun kids" my mom smiles we get inside the limo I sat next to jack and Andrea I noticed that Matt was staring at me I look at him and he looks away what was that about I thought

We finally arrive at school we walk inside where the dance was held "let's go dance" I say dragging jack to the dance floor he laughs I start dancing silly and he laughs "is that how you actually dance" he asked "No" I smile "oh cause I was about to say your a bad dancer" jack says "hey!" I say playfully hitting him  he chuckles "I'm going to go get me a drink want anything?" I asked

"Sure" jack shrugs  I walk over to the punch table I pour me and jack a cup of the red punch "you look really beautiful" someone says I turn around to see Matt "ugh thanks" I say "your welcome" he smiles  I smile back in return "so how's everything going" he asked "everything's going great except for this conversation" I murmur the last part "good" Matt says "yup well I should get going before jack comes looking for me" I say "okay well see ya later" he smiles I walk over to jack and hand him his punch.

I can't believe I lost her I know I don't look sad on the outside but in the inside I feel broken without her she's just so beautiful in so many different ways Rebecca's beautiful and all but not compared to Riley.Riley's just so different from every other girl and that's a good thing I will get her back I promise you that I will.
