-Perrie's POV-
After dinner, and after the dishes are done, Astrid leads us to our rooms upstairs.
"There's two rooms, three beds in one, two in the other. If you guys need anything else, just ask. I'll be downstairs."
"Thanks Astrid, goodnight." I thank her, smiling briefly.
"Night girls." She replies, then goes back downstairs.
Jade and I take one room, and Leigh, Jesy, and Destiny take the other. I close the door behind us, and we set our suitcases down.
I look at the clock, realizing it's only eight o'clock, but I'm tired.
I sit on the bed near the window, pulling a nightgown out of my suitcase.
I go to the dark corner of the room to change, though I don't know why. It's not like there's a boy in here or anything.
I lazily put my dirty clothes on top of my suitcase, flopping down onto the bed.
I look out the window, watching the stars and the moon. There's not a cloud in the sky, which seems to calm me.
I wonder if my mom or dad miss me anymore, or even my brother and sister! I usually don't think about them for the sake of trying to be happy, but tonight is different for some reason.
"You okay, Pez?" Jade asks, breaking me from my daze.
"Huh?" I ask, looking over to her.
"You're crying. What's wrong?" She asks, and I suddenly notice that my cheeks are wet with tears.
I sit up, clutching the blankets.
"I miss them." I say quietly, a lump forming in my throat.
"Who?" Jade asks, coming to sit beside me.
"My mom, my dad, and Jonnie and Caitlan." I admit, trying to hold back tears.
"I know how you feel, we all do. A couple days ago Jesy and Leigh were talking about how much they missed their families. Destiny said she misses her parents. I would kill to see my mom and Karl again!"
"We haven't seen them in years, except for Destiny. But her parents can't come back, Leigh's brother can't come back either." I let out, tears streaming down my face.
"Their parents probably miss them. Leigh said she still has a drawing Sian-Louise and Sarah drew for her, just to remind her of them." Jade reminds me, and I nod.
"I've seen it." I say, remembering the amazing drawing of a flower.
"Jesy was saying how she misses Jade, Jonathan, and Joseph. She doesn't know if her parents even love her anymore." Jade continues, hugging me tightly. "Your parents miss you too, and soon we are going to see them again, I promise you that."
"Thanks Jade." I stutter out, wiping my eyes.
"I'm always her to listen, and talk. Everybody needs to cry, even you." She says, crawling back into her own bed.
"Night Jade." I whisper, closing my sore eyes.
"Night Perrie." She whispers back, and then the room falls silent.
It's just me and my thoughts now, but I'm okay with that.
I start making a plan in my head, we're taking Mitchel, Amber, Tyler, and Jarod down soon. No more hiding, I want to finish this.
I fall asleep slowly, smiling at the thought of being free from this life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun shines in my face, waking me up slowly.
I stretch out, opening my eyes.
I turn over to look at the bed that Jade was sleeping in, and it's empty.
"Must've slept in again." I tell myself, standing up slowly.
I pull out some sweats and a t-shirt from my case, not caring what I'm wearing, as long as it's clothes.
I quickly get dressed, grabbing my brush.
I pull it through my messy hair, then giving up, I put it in a ponytail.
I make my way downstairs, following the noise of everyone talking.
I walk into the living room, and the girls are all laughing along with Astrid at a cartoon on T.V.
"Morning Perrie, sleep well?" Leigh asks, realizing that I'm awake.
"I slept alright." I lie, thinking of the rough night I had.
I kept waking up, falling back asleep, and waking up again. Mostly because of dreams I had through the night, which woke me up.
"You can help yourself to breakfast, if you want." Astrid smiles at me, and I nod, silently shuffling into the kitchen.
I make myself some cereal, sitting at the table.
I'm back on my train of thoughts about going after Jarod, Tyler, Amber, and Mitchel.
We're going to, soon, no matter how long it takes.
I need to discuss it with the girls, maybe Astrid.
We're going to plan this out, and make it 100% foolproof.
I put my dishes in the sink, and join the other girls.
"I've got to share something with you guys." I start, and they turn their attention to me.
"What's up?" Destiny asks, and I can tell she's ready to listen.
"We need to go after Jarod, Tyler, Amber, and Mitchel. We're fighters, not hiders. I don't want to keep running around for the rest of my life. We're ending this, for good!" I let out, and they all look at me in shock.
"I agree." Leigh nods at me, then looks at the others.
"Let's do it." Jesy adds on, smiling widely.
"Astrid? What do you think?" I ask, and her eyes go wide.
"I'm going to have to stay here girls, I'm sorry. I have other people to help, but I can help with supplies. Weapons, people to call if you need help, all that good stuff." She replies, taking a short breath.
"So when do we start?" Jade asks, sitting forward and looking at me intensely.
"What day is it today?" I ask, just to try and plan out when we actually do start.
"Thursday." Destiny replies, twiddling her thumbs, as she does when she's nervous.
"We'll head out on Saturday. We'll plan things out today and tomorrow." I work out what I'm planning in my head, and putting it into words.
"Sounds like a plan." Jesy says, a blank look on her face.
I realize how nervous everyone actually is, including myself.
"We'll stick together, and we'll get through this." Leigh makes a pact, and we agree. "Let's start planning this out."
