-Destiny's POV-

My footsteps echo through the alley, the night silent.

'I'm here.' I send a message to some one I didn't think I would ever talk to again.

Maybe this wasn't the best idea, putting myself and the people I care for on the line.

I stand against the brick wall, watching the alley intently.

I hear footsteps, making my heart beat faster than it already is.

I see him walking down the gravel road, a flashlight in his hand.

The light moves along the ground, then stops at my foot.

The bright light shines in my face, making me squint.

He jogs over to me, a sickening smile on his face.

"Okay, so we have a deal?" He asks, standing right in front of me.

I nod, terrified of what I'm getting myself into.

Ever since Mitchel got out of jail, he's been after us again. I'm still scared of him, but I need to protect the girls and my family.

"You better keep up your end of the bargain this time." I say sternly, trying to keep a serious face.

"Only if you keep up yours." He replies, pushing me up against the cold, brick wall.

"I did last time, and you're the one who lied!" I spat, squirming in his grasp.

"I promise this time it'll be different, babe." He smirks, my breathing heavy.

"Don't call me that." I nearly stutter out, his face close to mine.

He forcefully puts his lips on mine, against my will.

I'm forced into a sloppy kiss, his hands on my waist. He pulls away quickly, releasing his tight grip on me.

"See you tomorrow. You better be ready." He threatens, and leaves me standing there.

I stand there in shock and fear, wondering why I got myself into this.

Dammit, I hate being blackmailed.

I start walking back to the girl's and my house, pulling my jacket around me.

The streets are empty, the light posts guiding my way.

I turn the corner which leads to the main road, pulling out my phone.

It's 11:55 at night, I didn't realize how late it actually was! I'm glad I'm not too far from the house.

I pick up my pace, feeling paranoid all of the sudden.

I cross the road, nearly jogging down our street.

I stop and catch my breath in our driveway, leaning against the van.

Once I'm breathing normally again, I walk up to the front door, opening it slowly.

I tiptoe in, not wanting to wake anyone up. I slowly shut the door behind me, sliding off my flip-flops too.

I tiptoe to the stairs, carefully stepping up. I lightly step up the wooden stairs, making it to the top.

I continue to my room, where I left the door open. I step into the carpeted room, slowly shutting the door behind me.

I take a breath of relief, sitting on the end of my bed.

I take off my jacket and decide to sleep in my sweats and t-shirt that I already have on.

I crawl under the covers, resting my head on the pillow. I stare at the white ceiling, realizing I'm not tired.

I stand back up again, grabbing a mint from the top of my dresser. I unwrap it and put it in my mouth, in an attempt to get the taste of Mitchel's lips out of my mouth.

I sit on the edge of my bed, sucking on the hard candy. The delicious taste of mint fills my mouth, taking away the other horrible tastes.

My phone screen lights up, and I look over to it. A message from Mitchel.

I unlock my phone, reading the disturbing message.

'Better be lookin' sexy tomorrow night ;)' It reads, sending shivers down my back.

I lock my phone again, plugging it in. I decide to ignore the message, hoping he won't mind.

I swallow the last bit of the mint, laying back down. My head sinks into the soft pillow, and I pull the covers up to my shoulders.

I realize what I've done, and I'm slowly beginning to regret it. At the same time I don't though, I need to protect the girls and my family. I can't bear to think of them getting hurt!

I just hope that I can keep it a secret until he gives up, if he gives up. I can't change my mind now, or some one is going to get hurt.

My eyelids are heavy, and I let my head fall to the side.

My thoughts are running wild, making me over think. I close my eyes and try to relax.

I slow down my breathing, think of the deal I just made. It's worth the safety of the people I love, after all, they protected me for the longest time. Guess you could say it's returning the favor.

Even if it means making a deal with the devil.

(A/N): It's here! I know the first chapter is short, but I'll try and make the second one longer, I promise. Thank you all for your support on the first one, I love you guys!
