-Leigh's POV-

Perrie and I sit Jesy down on the lawn chair, trying to calm her down.

"Jes, it's alright." I try to soothe, her breathing slowing down.

I crouch down beside her, trying to get her to focus.

Perrie rubs her shoulders, and Jesy relaxes a bit.

She puts her head in her hands, putting her head to her knees.

She looks back up at us, her eyes wide.

It looks like she's still fuming, her fists still clenched.

She pushes Perrie and I off her, storming off out of the yard.

I look at Perrie, confusion striking both of our faces.

"Should we go after her?" I ask as Jesy goes out of sight.

"No. Just let her cool off." Perrie sighs, taking one last glance at the empty road.

We slowly make our way back inside, Jade and Destiny sitting on the couch.

They both stand up when we walk in, looking at us in curiosity.

"Where's Jesy?" Jade asks, worry on her face.

"She stormed off. We should just let her cool down." I reply, sitting on the couch.

We all slightly relax, though there's still tension in the room.

"She didn't mean to hurt you, I promise. It's just that-" Perrie starts, but Destiny cuts her off.

"I know. Jade told me everything." She assures us, and my eyes go wide.

"So you know that Jarod's..." I trail off, twirling my hair around my finger.

"Dead." Destiny finishes, tears welling in her eyes. "It's the circle of life." She adds on, giving me a small smile.

"So, anyway, where did Jesy go?" Jade asks, changing the topic.

"We have no idea." Perrie answers, putting her bottom lip between her teeth.

I look out the window at the darkening sky, the sun nearly completely set.

"She's bound to come back soon." Jade breaks the short silence, staring off into space.

"Anyone hungry?" Perrie asks, and a chorus of 'no's echo through the room.

The front door opens, and we all look quickly. Jesy stands there, staring at us with a blank look.

She slowly walks over to us, standing behind the couch.

"I'm sorry." She breaks the awkward silence, guilt flooding her face. "I didn't mean to freak out like that.

"It's alright." Destiny replies quietly, standing up and giving Jesy a hug.

"Are you alright?" I hear Jesy ask as the hug tightly.

I nod my head to the kitchen door, and Jade and Perrie get up with me.

We walk into the kitchen as quietly as possible, not wanting to disturb Jesy and Destiny's hug.

"I'm glad they can settle things quickly like that. It'd be horrible if two of us were fighting constantly." Jade speaks up, leaning against the counter.

"They're really close, which I'm happy about. I think they both just really needed a friend. Not that we're not their friends, but they both open up more to each other than they do with any of us." Perrie spills, smiling a little.
