I noticed my dad on Molten as I sighed and waved at him slightly, "Of all the irresponsible--" Stoic grumbled unhappily as he looked at the two of us and I looked at my dad sadly, "I'm trying to protect our dragons and stop a war! How is that irresponsible?" Hiccup asked looking at his father and holding onto my hand and I remained quiet, "Sam you know Drago war is what he wants" I sucked in a breath as Hiccups grip on my hand tightened and Stoic realized he had to now explain. "Years ago, there was a great gathering of chieftains to discuss the dragon scourge we all faced. Into our midst came a stranger from a strange land, covered in scars and draped in a cloak of dragon skin. He carried no weapon and spoke softly, saying that he, Drago Bludvist, was a man of the people, devoted to freeing mankind from the tyranny of dragons. He claimed that he alone could control the dragons and he alone could keep us safe, if we chose to bow down and follow him" As the gang laughed my dad gulped and I didn't laugh moving closer to Hiccup and leaning into him. "Stupid" Ruffnut said and Tuffnut agreed "Good one". 

"Aye. We laughed, too... Until he wrapped himself in his cloak and cried out, "Then see how well you do without me!". The rooftop suddenly burst into flames, and from it, armored dragons descended, burning the hall to the ground. I... was the only one to escape" I gulped as the others seemed disturbed by the story my dad cleared his throat "we were lucky too Sam..." My dad said and I nodded "I know... He killed moms home island..." I said "That's the reason she left and didn't return when I was fourteen" I said looking at my father and he nodded and I looked away from everyone's gaze. Stoic spoke up "men who kill without reason cannot be reasoned with" Stoic said and I saw the hope in Hiccup's eyes and I sighed limping to Stormdancer, "Maybe" was all I heard "Hiccup..." Stoic said "I'm still going to try. This is what I'm good at. And if I could change your mind... I can change his, too" Hiccup said motioning to me I was smaller and slightly faster as I got to Stormdancer. Hiccup and I took off, I looked back to see Astrid try to get to Stormfly but Stoic stopped her. 

I flew with Hiccup as he stared ahead frustrated, us and the dragons glided over a bed of clouds, glowing in the low arctic sun. I jumped when Hiccup let out a scream of frustration and he slumps back onto the saddle, I saw Toothless recoil, sensitive to Hiccup's upset. "Don't worry, bud... Sammy... I'm not gonna let anything happen to you guys... I promise..." Hiccup looking towards me. Something caught my attention as something started to tear from the clouds a mysterious person appears to be flying in thin air. I gasp and watch as they vanish "aw, come on, Dad! Really?!" Hiccup said sitting up and I yelped "it's not your dad..." I said firmly. 

"Okay. No sudden movements..." Hiccup said to Toothless and I, I nod the figure rises, revealing to be riding upon a Stormcutter and I gasped in shock "Hold on... Hold on" Hiccup said. I watch as a dragon snatches Hiccup then one goes towards me but Stormdancer gets in the way knocking me down I was falling, that's all I felt as I watched the dragon drag Stormdancer "Sam!!" Hiccup yelled as I was caught by Toothless and we crashed into the ice, "Toothless! Sam!" Hiccup yelled I felt Toothless grab me and I glanced back at him worried as the cold became unbearable.

"Hey! You left my dragon and girlfriend back there! He can't fly on his own! They'll drown!" Hiccup shouted to the stranger as they carried Hiccup to a large place. "We have to head back for Sam and my dragon!" He shouted, he looked around he was surrounded by dragons, he noticed he had Shocker and Inferno, he lit them showing he was one of them.  Stormdancer looked around in a panic wrapping herself around Hiccup scared, Hiccup pushed away from the Skrill and drew a circle and ignites it walking towards a dragon he extends his arm the warrior stepped forward making Hiccup recoil, "Who are you? Are you the Dragon Thief? Drago Bludvist? Do you even understand what I'm saying?" He asked as the warrior ordered a dragon to bring Toothless and Sam. 

I was shaken awake "Sam... Toothless! it's okay. I'm glad to see you two. You really had me worried back there..." He said hugging me tightly and I shivered and hugged him in return, The masked figure ordered the dragons to light the place, and approached Toothless, Stormdancer hissed lowly wrapping around me and looking at Toothless. The warrior put Toothless into a trance I let out a trill whistle which broke it and Toothless collapsed and the stranger looked at me, before she approached Stormdancer gently she hissed and I rested my hand on Stormdancer as she looked at me before the warrior person went to looked at Hiccup, I noticed Hiccup grow nervous and turns his head a little, revealing the scar on his chin and the person recoils. "Hiccup?" The helmet is removed and my eyes widened as it revealed a middle-aged woman, "Could it be? After all these years? How is this possible?" She asked looking him over. "Uh... Should I... Should I know you?" He asked looking at me as I approached him carefully and smiled at him, "No. You were only a babe... But a mother never forgets" she said and my jaw dropped as did Hiccups and I looked at her before she looked at me and Hiccup smiling and getting excited "Come..." She said putting her hand out in a come motion. 

"Hold on! Wait just a minute!" Hiccup said as I followed he made sure I was following and I smiled at him "this way" Valka said and I she vanished "Come back here!" Hiccup said as he chased her and I giggled "Come" she said again as I was on close trail of Hiccup as well. "You can't just say something like that and run off! You're my MOTHER?! I mean, what-- do you grasp how INSANE it sounds?!" He asked and I sighed as we kept following Toothless and Stormdancer behind us. "Come. Quickly!" Valka said excited as we followed her "I have questions! Were have you been all this time? What've you been doing?! They said you were dead! Everyone thinks you were eaten by..." We froze in shock as we go through the opening leading into a bigger space my mind was blown hordes of dragons of various species fly around, Hiccup and I look around in awe, he looked at me before he looked out, Hiccup and I looked up to see Valka and the Stormcutter she was riding hanging from the cave roof, "this is where you've been for twenty years?" He asked and she nodded to him smiling slightly.
