Shrek ( Aranea2020 Version)

Chapter 7

Shrek and his pets were shaking in fear as they were surrounded by the men.

" Hey come on! Hang on now." Shrek said nervously as he backed up into a serving table in front of several huge kegs of ale. He glanced towards the kegs and the table, then lifts a glass of beer.

" Go ahead and get him!" A woman from the crowd shouted. Kobe started whimpering when she heard that.

" Can't we just settle this over a pint?" Shrek asked nervously.

" Kill the beast!" A man shouted causing Kobe to whimper louder in fear. The warriors continued to advance, brandishing weapons.

" No? All right then. Come on!" Shrek said after drinking the beer. The warriors surged forwards with various battle cries. Shrek whirled and knocked spigots off the kegs with his glass. Ale geysers out knocked over knights and soaked into the dirt, turning it into mud. The warriors started slipping and sliding, legs went out from under them, unable to get their footing.

Shrek skated through the mud field like a hockey player while knights slipped and slid around him. The tournament grounds became a virtual WWE match. The crowd began to root for Shrek as he performed wrestling moved on the knights. Donkey joined in.

" Hey Shrek! Tag me! Tag me!" He said joyfully. Shrek tagged him in and held knight while Donkey head butted him.

" Hey what about me?" Kobe asked out loud as she heard two knights behind her. She turned around and looked at them with big sad eyes purring. The knights looked at her and said " Aww!"  until Kobe all of a sudden pounced on one of them and scratched them with her paws making the knight yell out in pain.

" Get this thing off me!!" The knight yelled desperately. Max just stood there and watched.

Meanwhile Shrek crashed a folded chair over a downed knight. Finally all the men were down. The audience went wild after that. Kobe and Max walked over to Shrek and Donkey as they finished as well.

" Oh yeah! Thank you! Thank you very much! I'm here til Thursday. Try the veal." Shrek said as he started laughing.
Kobe and Max started laughing with him. They stopped laughing as all of the guards turned their weapons towards Shrek.

" Shall I give the order sir?" The Head Guard asked Farquaad.

" No, I have a better idea." Farquaad responded. He then announced to the audience.

" People of DuLoc! I give you our champion!" Farquaad announced as the crowd cheered louder for Shrek. Kobe and Max looked up at the Ogre with smiles to how happy they were for him.
