"Here." Joss uttered exchanging our plate putting the already sliced steak on mine and began to sliced the steak.
"I have a hand." I stated lowly, He's a gentleman I admit but I'm a man. I can't be treated like a fragile woman. I glared at him which he didn't mind and continue to slice his steak.
"I know." He uttered without bothering to spare a glanced at me.
"Stop it. I can do it on my own." I click my tongue.
Joss stop and look at me squinting his eyes. "Why are you so whiney?"
"I'm not whining"
"Yes, You are."
I glared at him, I tried to stomp on his shoes but he immediately dodge it. I bit my tongue looking at his sly smile. In the end I rolled my eyes directed my frustration on the steak.
"I'm sorry Joong. They are always like that." I heard Dome stated. I lifted my chin and glared at Dome. He gave me a wide grin and continued, "Making us singles feel lonely."
"Were not a thing." I immediately object. We're always fighting, who in the world would think were an item?
"I didn't say, you are." He said as a matter of fact. I rolled my eyes at him for he is correct.
"Tsk." I can only say.
I silently ate my food, another round of food was serve in front. Voices of Pavel and Joss were the only thing I heard in the table.
Benjamin and Earth were talking using their low voice, sometimes Dome would butt in the conversation but Joong never said a word. What's with him? I thought his comfortable with my friends?
"Joss, I heard your seeing someone." My ears twitched at what Benjamin stated. Joss Way-ar?
"Really? Should I feel jealous?" I stated lowly, suppressing my excited tone. Finally! My monk friend is now dating! All those wasted years will be fulfilled!
His dark brown orbs look away, afraid to be caught. I squinted my eyes, "Silly. We're just friends."
"For now." Pavel butt in.
I grin at Pavel, and put an act. I pouted my lips and look at him with Bambi eyes flickering my lashes "Am I not gonna be your baby anymore?"
"What do you mean, your always be my baby!" He grinned at me and cast a glance at Joong.
My eyes rounded, regretting what I have said. I tightly closed my eyes, sitting properly. We always joke about this, because the gang usually pairs me with Joss. What do I do?
"What? No!" I said, As if he'll be jealous right? I'm the one that's been liking him not the other way around so let us not get worked up and compose yourself. "Wait... Who is it? Do I know her? Or him?" I asked curiously.
"It's him." He gave me a bored look but the corner of his mouth lifted suppressing a smile.
"Do I know him?" I continued asked, grinning at his reaction. He look down to his plate and played with the food. His lips protruded with his eyes squinting as if burning the food on his plate. Damn. This is so satisfying.
"Well, you might or you might not." He eventually said.
I glared at him, "Just state his name."
Before he could open his mouth a sound of ringing phone echoes the room. Everyone stopped and turn to look at Joss. He gave me sly smile before fishing out his phone from his pocket.
"Excuse me." He uttered, then walk out of the room. You can always answer your phone in front of everyone. It would be convenient for me to gossip.
