I'm on my knees in my school parking lot, staring up at the barrel of a gun. And I'm smiling. Though I'm battered, bruised, and bloodied from my wreck, I can't help but feel overwhelming relief, looking into the panicked eyes of Detective Stephen Shaw.

"It's over, Stephen." I say, and he starts shaking his head, in disbelief, in panic.

"No... How did you..." Stephen and his task force stare in horror across the parking lot to the security camera outside my school. Stephen staggers back, whirling around only to find more and more cameras looking his way. I think I see an impressed smile flit across Jenny's lips.

"I'll be damned. She wasn't going to the police station. She was leading us here." She says, crossing her arms.

"How's it feel, you son of a bitch?" Jax speaks up, and Stephen points his gun at him, fury flashing across his face. Hero cautiously gets to his feet, keeping his hands raised.

"Hey, let's all take it easy, okay? Nobody needs to get hurt now." He says, and I mirror him, slowly rising despite the piercing pain in my rips. Stephen points his gun at Hero than at me, and back to him, conflicted.

"We have your faces on tape. Don't make it any worse for yourself." I say, and Stephen actually lets out a short laugh, the mad kind.

"Worse? How could anything be fucking worse than this? You've ruined everything... for both of us." He says.

"I'm not going down for this!" Hesters says, shaking her head. The other detective touches his earpiece, and his eyes grow wide.

"Uh, Shaw? We've got uniformed officers dispatched to this location. We're about to have company." He says.

"That wreck caused a hell of a commotion. We're running out of time-" Jenny starts, and Stephen whirls towards her.

"You. You had something to do with this, didn't you?" He says, pointing his gun at her. In a flash, she aims right back at him.

"Don't you point that thing at me! I'm on your side, remember? We underestimated her, and she beat us. It's too late to go back now." She says, giving him a warning glare. The rest of the task force draw their guns and also aim at each other, distrustful.

"Wait! Stephen, please..." I slowly stand up straighter, inching closer to Stephen. Jenny may have betrayed us, but she did it to protect us. She's still part of the crew.

"Jo, what are you doing?" Hero hisses, but I ignore him.

"Let them kill each other if they want," Jax says, but I just step closer to Stephen.

"You were right, Stephen... We were the same-both of us living two lives at once. But we can't anymore. We don't have to anymore. Aren't you tired? Tired of keeping the halves of you apart?" I say, and he glances at me. The gun shakes in his hand. "Turn yourself in. Do it for your family. Think about your wife. I know you love her. This is the only way you can protect her from yourself." I continue, and Stephen nervously licks his lips, eyebrows furrowed.

"Don't listen to her! We've gotta go! Now!" Hester says loudly.

"Shut the fuck up! Shut up! I need time to think!" Stephen shouts. "We can figure this out if we stick together." He says, but I watch Hester shake her head, backing away.

"Huh-uh. No way. I'm out." She turns back to her car.

"Where are you-" Stephen starts, just as the other detective movies to go to his car too.
