After talking to Fred for a bit longer, he left her in the bathroom to clean herself up. She stood up and grunted. Her legs were quite stiff from sitting on the floor for so long. She forced herself to move towards the sink. When she was able to take a peek into the large mirror just above it, she muttered under her breath," damnit,"

Her cheeks were puffy and red, as were her eyes. Her long lashes were now sticking together from her salty tears. Her lips were dry and chapped because of her heavy breathing whilst crying; she looked horrible.

With succeeding in washing at least some hints of her mental breakdown off her face, she made her way downstairs to see everyone at the dining table. Molly and Arthur were standing next to the table full of their children when Sam grabbed the seat next to Ginny.

"So we're meeting with a few old friends of ours to grab lunch, we'll be back in a few hours." Arthur said whilst making his way over to the fireplace. He ushered Molly to do the same, but she quickly added a few more things," I've made some food in case you get hungry, do enjoy it please. Don't burn the house down, have fun dearies. Oh and-"

Her last words were cut off by mr.Weasley who already had a handful of floo powder and muttered their destination.

"Bloody hell! I thought they'd never leave." Ron exclaimed with a deep groan.

The group laughed, all other than Samantha. She wasn't really in the mood. Fred noticed, but decided against saying something. She wouldn't like everyone's attention on her.

Not only Fred had noticed her behaviour. George looked at her, worry bubbling in his stomach.

"Let's see what mum made then, shall we?" Percy asked while standing up and heading towards the kitchen.

"Yes please! I'm starving." Ron said with a relieved smile on his face. He clearly had been waiting for someone to suggest eating lunch.

"You're always starving Ron," Ginny snickered from beside Sam. Normally the girl would have laughed and high-fived Ginny, but not this time. She was staring out the window, looking at the long grass, which looked like it was dancing because of the light breeze outside.

George was sitting opposite her, having a perfect view of the brunette. He had been staring for a while now, waiting for some kind of reaction, but nothing came.

They all started eating, George still glancing up at her from time to time. She barely ate anything. He was starting to get really worried now. She would never turn down Molly's cooking.

For a brief moment, Sam shifted her gaze towards the redhead opposite her. They made eye-contact and George threw a kind smile towards her. However, she quickly turned her head to the table to start investigating the tablecloth. George furrowed his brows in confusion. He had to find out what was bothering her. He couldn't stand to know she was upset.

He wanted to fix whatever was wrong, but little did he know, it was her mindset that needed fixing.

The next few days Sam spent at the burrow were quite dull. She withdrew herself to Bill and Charlie's room for most of the time, keeping quiet during mealtimes. She didn't say a word to George. She just couldn't. She was scared she would break.

She had seen the way George watched her, ready to squeeze her into a tight hug whenever she asked him to, but she never did. The worry radiated off of him. It only made her avoid him even further. His presence alone made her want to tell him every single thing that had crossed her mind these past few days.

That meant also confessing her feelings towards him. She didn't want that. So, she stayed away. The whole family was fussing over her, except for Mr.Weasley and Percy. Ron and Ginny definitely noticed something was up, but didn't know how to start a conversation about it. Fred treated her the same, maybe a bit more careful. Mrs.Weasley almost had a mental breakdown when Sam told the woman she wasn't hungry. At first, she thought it had to do with her cooking, but she soon saw eating wasn't the only thing Samantha wasn't doing. She obviously noticed the tension that lingered over her own house.
