"They won Sammie! YEAHHHH!" George roared from beside her. She couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm. She was glad the Irish had won too, but she wasn't as loud as the Weasleys. He was jumping up and down, shaking her shoulders, trying to get some reaction out of her.
Eventually she gave in, pinching his cheeks as she shrieked,"Oh my god they won!"
He laughed when she stuck her tongue out at him, rolling his eyes before ruffling up her hair.
"Hey! Not fair sir, I can't even reach your hair." she scolded him with her index finger pointed straight at his nose.
"Perhaps you should grow a little then, Sammie." he teased, messing up her hair yet again.
She pushed him back, fighting the smile that was making its way onto her face.
Ron, Harry, Fred and George jumped and danced around the entire way back to the tent. Arthur left them all for a moment to catch up with a few colleagues from the ministry, meanwhile Ginny, Hermione and Sam were rolling their eyes at the boys.
They yelled, cheered and sang, well rather roaring at this point. When they reached their tent, the celebrating continued. The twins started dancing around Ron, who was giving a speech about his favorite player, Viktor Krum. He caught the snitch for the Bulgarian team, but they still lost.
The girls sat back, drinking a hot chocolate. It was a hilarious sight really, seeing the boys acting like twelve-year-olds. Sam was feeling rather tired, so she told the girls she was going to bed. They wished her goodnight and went on with their own conversation. After putting her mug away, she walked towards the part of the tent where the girls slept.
George intercepted her right when she was going to enter it, "Oi Sam, where are you going?" he asked with his hand on the piece of fabric in front of her. She turned around to him standing right beside her, his arm reaching over her shoulder. His face was so close, she could feel his deep breath dancing on her nose. "I'm going to bed George," she smiled.
He pouted,"Already?"
She couldn't help but chuckle,"yes, already. It was a long day."
His eyes flickered with an unreadable emotion for just a moment, before he lifted the left corner of his mouth in that lopsided grin of his,"Well, goodnight then Sammie."
She beamed up at him," goodnight Georgie."
She left him standing there, entering the room and changing into her pajamas immediately. She was exhausted. Right when she was about to drop down on her bed, she heard bangs from outside. It must have been some Irish fans who decided to pop some fireworks. She went to lie down as George stormed in.
"Umm excuse me? George I could have been in my underwear."
"Now is not the time Sam, get up."
His voice was flooded with panic and concern. Something was wrong, George was never this serious. She threw the bedding from her body and got up. She walked over to him quickly,"What's wrong?"
"I don't know, but dad said we have to go to the forest, as soon as we can."
He grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the tent. There she saw Fred with Ginny's hand clasped in his. "Let's go!"
The four of them ran outside. The sight of the place that was filled with excitement and colours just an hour before, now caused chivers to go down Sam's back. People were running around, all in different directions. One woman was even crying out for help, on her knees next to presumably her tent going up in flames. Her screams made Sam chilly to the core. If it wasn't for George's hand squeezing hers and tugging her along, she would have been stuck to the ground out of fear. She didn't actually see what caused all the chaos, but it couldn't be good.
