Ever since her chat with her granny, Sam had been pondering over her parents. She didn't understand how her dad could have left her mum, even when her grans clearly believed they loved each other. Was it all one big lie for him? Maybe he just wanted to get her in bed and then dump her, but why did he agree to meeting her mother if that were his intentions?

Or did he truly care about her? Perhaps he was just scared, scared of pulling her into his mess. Frightened of being a bad influence on her and their child. He was an orphan after all. It was possible he was just nervous about being a father, as he never had a proper one himself.

Samantha didn't know, but she did write a letter about it to her friends. She sent one to Ella, Hermione and the twins. Things had been awkward between George and her, but she hoped this would result in moving past that. She would act like nothing ever happened at all, as if she didn't ignore him for four days. It was the only solution she had for her problems: running away or ignoring them.

After four days, she finally heard her gran's owl, Autumn, knocking her beak against the window. She brought Ella's letter with her and was rewarded with lots of treats from Sam. She always had a soft spot for all kinds of animals and magical creatures. Hermione's had come a day later, but no letter from the Weasley twins was seen. She was kind of upset about it. In the meantime, the excitement in the answers of her other friends distracted her from the pained feeling she felt by being ignored.

Dear Samantha,

Oh my god! How exciting is this? She finally told you, far from everything, but still.

She did fairly take her time though, just saying. I'm so happy for you Sam, you're getting the answers you've waited for your entire life AND the ones you deserve in my opinion.

You're going to have to tell me everything in detail as soon as school starts again. For now, I have some thrilling news too...

I INVITED ADRIAN TO STAY AT MINE FOR A FEW DAYS THIS SUMMER!!!

I swear Sam, he was such a dear. That boy keeps surprising me over and over again. My mum adored him and he even managed to charm my dad. Can you believe it? I think he's really the right one for me, you know? Kind of like you and George.

I bet you're blushing now. See? You like him Sam, stop denying it.

Anyway, back to my loverboy Adrian. We had to stay in separate rooms of course. My dad couldn't stand the thought of us sleeping together under his roof. Maybe next year...

Talking about sleeping together, didn't you visit the Weasleys? Or are you just joining them to the World Cup? I assumed you would be missing a certain redhead far too much to wait seven weeks before going there. Or maybe you are better at self-restraint than I thought.

Nahh, who am I kidding? We both know you say everything that comes to mind. Nonetheless, not when it comes to George. So is he your weak spot? Is he your 'kryptonite'?

I told you I would become better at those muggle references you taught me!

Well, this is getting quite chaotic now, but i'm far too lazy to start over again. You'll just have to deal with it hun.

I miss you and I can't wait to see you again!

Love you xx

Ella (your mainbitch)

Sam couldn't help but smile at her friend's letter. Ella always went totally haywire when she was writing a letter. One time she had to start over 23 times while writing one to her parents. She knew that Sam was used to it by now, so she didn't bother anymore. Honestly, Sam loved her chaos. It showed Ella's enthusiasm about writing back to her and made her feel like she was actually there.
