Fred, George and Samantha were walking down the paths in the fields of Devon, making their way to the burrow. They moved side by side, Sam's shoulders brushing against the boys' arms. She was almost ten inches smaller, hence that it looked kind of silly.

There wasn't much conversation, except Fred going on about the different ideas the twins had about pranking during the upcoming school year. Sam was a bit embarrassed of her behaviour earlier, when the two Weasleys showed up at her doorstep. She felt bad for punching Fred, but mainly for doubting them. She chewed her bottom lip as she worried about how to apologize to them.

George was watching his feet, making dust fill the air. He too was getting worked up about Sam's outburst. He felt bad for making her think she was being ignored and wanted to show how much he missed her. He wanted to make her feel appreciated and loved because, truthfully that was exactly what she was by the entire Weasley family.

He saw her fidgeting with the hem of her shirt, so he grabbed one of her hands in his and squeezed it, causing her to look up at him. He could see the concern in her eyes, her whole body radiating uneasiness. As soon as their gazes met, he smiled.

His smile made Sam's shoulders visibly relax. He wasn't angry or hurt by her accusations, nor the tension between them last time she stayed at their house. She sighed and returned the act, beaming up to him as she did absolutely nothing to fight his grip on her hand.

It wasn't a tight grip or anything. It was just a reassuring hold, telling her she needn't worry. George knew her too well. He always saw right through her, almost reading her mind sometimes. He noticed the smallest of things about her consternation and always knew just how to calm her.

They continued their way up to the Weasley residence, Fred rambling about different kinds of sweets with special abilities and George and Sam still hand in hand.

When they arrived Bill, Charlie and Ron were just outside setting the table for dinner. Molly had insisted on eating outside in the lovely August warmth. Greetings came from the eldest brothers while Sam caught the youngest one in an unexpected hug while Fred en George ruffled his hair. Ron squirmed to get free, eventually giving up. He told them that Ginny was in her room, but would be down any minute. Yet, even before Ron could finish his explanation Sam got almost strangled by Molly's hug, which forced George to finally let go of Sam's hand. Arthur standing behind them with a wide smile. "Glad to have you back Samantha," he said, "Excited about tomorrow?"

Sam smiled and nodded her head," Of course,"

Everyone sat down and supper began. Ginny was next to her, Ron sitting opposite her and George on her other side. She didn't notice the little glances he threw her whilst she talked with his family. She also missed the fact that Fred was watching the two of them with a grin on his face.

After dinner, Hermione and Harry arrived as well. Ginny insisted on having a girls night with the three of them so they stayed up in the younger girl's room and chatted all evening. They went to bed pretty early, as they had to get up around sunrise again the next day.

Sam woke up by someone shaking her. She grunted and turned around, away from the person who was trying to get her up. "Sammie, you have to wake up now." George whispered.

"Five more minutes," she mumbled as a response, grabbing the sheets tighter. George sighed, "Everyone's already downstairs, we're leaving in like 15 minutes,"

Muttering came, but the boys behind her didn't understand it. George looked up at his twin, shrugging as he blew a hair from his forehead.

Ginny and Hermione had come down that morning, all dressed and ready. George had asked them about Sam, but Ginny told him she was scared to be the one to wake her, as she could be quite grumpy.
