"Why? Too shock because of the cleanliness, huh?" Soonyoung smirked arrogantly, but all I could do was stood in my spot, trying to hold back myself.
"Didn't I tell you not to touch my room?!" My words came out in an unexpected tone which made him flinched.
"Uhm no, you didn't"
Soonyoung's POV
Jia's face turned red and it's either she is flustered or she is mad, or both. I watched as her hand turned into a fist, her lips twitch as she clenched her jaw.
"Don't touch any of my stuffs again, Soonyoung" I gulped down as she spoke in a firm, stern tone.
"I-I won't"
"And please don't come into my room without any permission"
"Y-Yes, I-" I was cut off by the sudden slam of the door.
I stood in front of the doorway feeling confuse. I know she is mad because I touched her stuffs because her words and expression says so which petrifies me since this like the first time I have seen her this mad.
We only met, yet I made her mad already.
She is mad, really badly mad.
I never had anyone get mad at me especially the maids and butlers. My friends don't get mad at me, even my classmates, teachers because they all respect me since I came from a wealthy family.
Dealing with someone like her is hard.
If she just knew my status, she would've respected me.
But I can't let her know about my real status since she might just call the police which my mother would know. I have to get away from my mother since she has been a hindrance to my plan of getting justice for my father.
Jia's POV
I stifled a sigh of relief as I realized that none of my most valuable stuffs were moved. The frames, portraits and other memories of my family are still in their places.
Soonyoung doesn't have to know.
"Jia, are you still gonna eat?" I heard Soonyoung knocked through the door.
"Go away" I couldn't hold back myself form the anger I felt towards him.
I know that he is trying his best to show gratitude, but he just went too far in touching my stuffs and cooking our two week worth of food.
What am I gonna do?
I knew he was a bad idea.
Soonyoung's POV
~Saturday~
I woke up later than expected. I stood up and ran to the kitchen to cook some food since Jia might be hungry. Geez, I should've wake up early to cook for her.
"Huh?" I saw a note on the table which caught my attention.
'This is for breakfast and lunch, please don't cook anymore'
-JiaI took off the covers and saw a bowl of stew, rice and a few side dishes which made me furrowed my eyebrows in frustration.
Is she starving me?
I know that we have to save up, but isn't this way too few?
I grabbed my coat, putting on my watch and ring before making my way out of the house to find the nearest pawnshop.
I can't use my debit card since my mother would know where I am. The best way to get money is to put these luxury items to the pawnshop.
"How much for these?" I asked the man before putting down the rings and watches which made his eyes widened.
I also took off three buttons from my jacket. Each button cost a million since it has diamond studs on it.
I don't really mind exchanging away all my luxury goods.
After all, when this is over, I could go back to my home and go shopping all-day.
I have got about a billion pocket money which I think is small since the money I got in my bank account is a lot more times bigger than this.
But it's all right, this only to sustain our needs for the month.
I went to the grocery store and bought a lot of food for the house and of course some cleaning materials too.
Jia's POV
"Cheol-ah, long time, no see" I greeted with a smile as the boy with a curly black hair, wearing a black hoodie came into the store with a lollipop in his mouth.
"Hey! You're finally here!"
He is Joshua's friend along with Jeonghan. They live around the neighborhood, and they come here often to buy snacks and go to the nearest computer cafe.
"Going to the computer cafe?" I asked
"Yeah, And we'll go arcade too after this. Wanna come with us?" He asked as he got a few bags of chips and candies, placing it on the counter.
"Oh no thanks," I declined as he paid.
"Joshua won't be coming with us since he's busy working two jobs again"
"Why don't you come and fill in the spot for him?" He asked.
"Nah, Cheol, maybe next time"
"But you always say that" He pouted which made me sighed.
"All right, after my shift is done"
"Yey!" He cheered.
Soonyoung's POV
All I did was watch the television while waiting for her to come home. I already cleaned and made dinner after going to the local market.
"Geez, she's supposed to be home at this time, right?" I muttered under my breathe as I took a glance at the clock and saw that it already strike at seven.
Yesterday she came home at like six.
Jia's POV
"It's so good to hang out with you again, Jia" Jeonghan said as we continued to play computer games.
"Am I not a good company?" Seungcheol asked, eyes still focus on the screen of the computer.
"Haha, you're not" Jeonghan teased.
"Oh shut up" the two burst into laughter as the game ended and we won.
"I can't believe I'm wasting my money on computer cafes" I sighed as I leaned on the chair.
"You have got to enjoy yourself a but even for a just a few moments since we're about to be adults soon" Seungcheol spoke.
"I know right, I can't believe I'm about to finish college" Jeonghan said as I rolled my eyes.
"My situation is different from you guys, I'm a medical student and it might take me ten years to graduate" I sighed.
"Why didn't you choose another course? Like, marketing is such a piece of cake" Seungcheol suggested.
"Cheol, it's not about the easy course you could take, it's about the future" I said.
"I want to be a surgeon who will have her own hospital in which I could make money"
"That's my girl, always so passionate about herself" Jeonghan complimented as he ruffled my hair, making me chuckled.
"Ugh geez, all I want is to finish college and that's all" Seungcheol rolled his eyes as he shrugged his shoulders.
How reckless and lazy.
"Speaking of what we want to do, let's go arcade" Jeonghan suggested.
"Yeah sure, I'm down for it!" Seungcheol exclaimed.
