Jia's POV
My eyes were lingering around as I spotted this familiar kid who stood at a spot, crying as he sobbed. I felt pity for the little boy which is why I stood up and made my way to him.
"Hey, kid. Are you okay?" I asked as I knelt down.
"M-Mom and d-dad" he stuttered as I cupped his face, wiping off his tears.
"Are you lost?" I asked as he nodded his head eagerly.
"All right, let's go find them, okay? Let's go to the office first to make an announcement" I said.
"Don't cry anymore, you'll find them" I reassured hefore I stood up, holding his hand to find the office.
Soonyoung's POV
I was surprised to find Jia nowhere. I put down our tray of food and drinks on the table as I frantically looked around until I spotted a familiar woman not from a far with a kid.
The kid soon ran to the elder man and woman who hugged the kid tightly before turning to Jia with a smile and bowing to her.
I sat down on my seat as she watched the family hugged each other. She turned around, her head hung low as I caught a glimpse of her, wiping off her tears in a rush.
She walked back to our table and as soon as she did that, she didn't made an eye contact with me. "Where were you?" I asked, pretending not to know.
"W-Washroom" she spoke as I stared I watched her facial expression that turned from joy to sudden dullness and sadness.
"O-Oh the food's here, let's eat now before it gets cold" She spoke in a calm tone, but I can still tell that she is feeling uncomfortable.
"All right" I responded as we started to eat.
For the whole time we ate, I noticed some heavy aura around her, but I decided to shrug it off since she has always been a quiet person who is conservative with her words.
I have to admit, She looks stern and scary.
Her persona is kind of like my sister's.
Maybe, she has a soft side that I still haven't uncover.
"What ride do you wanna take after this?" I asked her.
"Let's go for a walk first to digest" she answered.
"Oh, right" I smiled.
Jia's POV
Soonyoung and I walked around the park, eyes lingering as we watch the fun rides, and tried a few booths. However, I still cannot get him out of my mind.
My dad.
I miss him so much.
I wish he's here.
"Mom, dad! Let's go ride that!" The little girl exclaimed to her parents as she pointed to the carousel.
"Sure, let's go!" The mother exclaimed with a smile before being dragged by her daughter to the ride.
I shouldn've never gone to this place.
It just keeps reminding me of my parents.
Who are now gone.
"Hey, are you okay?" I got back to my senses when Soonyoung nudged my shoulder. I turned to him, only to find him, holding a teddy bear which caught my attention.
"I won this by playing the darts" he smiled.
"But you can have it since I'm not really fond of stuff toys that aren't tigers" His offer startled me as he handed me the stuff toy.
