Chapter 67

Quinn's POV

It has been almost six months now with Brenton and I are still going strong together and we are now on a whole new chapter of our lives now. 

Brenton and I went back to Wisconsin in order to make a fresh start and put all the drama and negativity in the past, it was nice seeing all our friends again and kind of picking up right where we left off which is exactly what he needed. 

I choose to finish up school but not before talking Mr. Romero into giving the consultant job to Caily Scott who I felt was far more qualified to do the job justice than me. I have since graduated college at the top of my class and I now work from 9am to 5pm at Henderson hospital here in Nevada Monday till Friday with weekends off unless I am needed. 

The incident that happened to my dad really affected me in a way that I knew in my heart that becoming a nurse and helping people is what I am passionate about. 

Brenton got offered both the record clerk position and the officer position that he applied for but he turned both jobs down and choose to accept a bailiff job which he seems to be loving even if he working 40 hour weeks. 

Brenton and I have moved out of apartment in Wisconsin which was harder than I thought it would be leaving behind our friends that are more like family now, our lives that we built from nothing, and even with us moving away Wisconsin will always have a special place in my heart not because of all the memories but also because it was the first real home Brenton and I shared. 

After moving from Wisconsin back to Nevada we finally found the prefect place where we are currently moving into our new beautiful two bedroom and three bathroom apartment in Paradise Nevada which is very ideal for us because it is about a 20 minute drive to both our parents' house, a 15 minute drive to work for Brenton, and a 20 minute drive to work for me. 

Etta is doing great, my dad who has fully recovered is already back on the job, he managed to bury the hatchet with Brenton but let tell you that was long and hard road for Brenton and has been trying to get talked into dating again by the whole family including Jared and I who think it would be nice for my dad to get out there again. 

Jared is no longer a bartender because he has now opened up his own club called 'Barrage ' which everyone is super proud of him for buckling down and reaching a goal that I know means a lot to him, he and Trinity are still together which makes this the longest relationship he has ever been in but that also leads to a many sex talks from dad, Uncle Caspian and Uncle Evan are doing wonderful with 'After Chic' stores now open in Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and of course here in Nevada. 

My Aunt Penny and Uncle Tevin are back to their normal lives and are happy. 

My friends and I hashed everything out before I left and some of them even made the trip there to visit and see what they call my other life, Emery and Caily are solid but I can tell that it is very hard for Emery with Caily being away for her job which she can never stop talking about but in a good way, Chris and Alexa went through a horrible rough patch after Alexa came clean about the baby and everything that happened with Nikki but it also brought them more together to now where they are more than excited about become parents very soon and Alexa is glowing with her cute but swollen baby bump. 

Anthony and Amara are starting to enter that sexual part of their relationship and as someone who knows from personal experience those two are not shy on the PDA in the least, Tiffany and Clay couldn't be better as the two of them finally took a huge step in their relationship by officially moving in together. 

Brenton sees his Marine buddies all the time which is one of the reasons he wanted to moved back and some exciting news came with the announcement of Brick and Penelope are going to be having a baby which let's be honest is going to be a gorgeous baby girl or studley handsome baby boy, this might shock you but believe it or not I have actually wandered to the Zeta Xi Alpha fraternity house a couple of times just to hang out which of course no one knows about. 

That leaves everyone but Nick who is still on bad terms with my family and Brenton but the only person that has remained neutral in all of this is Etta but I think that is because I told them I forgave him and that seemed like enough for her.

 I had one of the most emotional talks before going back to Wisconsin and I can't say that I don't love him because I do and I think I always will, once I went back to Wisconsin I didn't really hear for him which made me miss him but since I have moved back I have hang out with him from time to time but just as friends and Nick Romero will always be my Peter Pan. 

Everything seems to be going perfect for me right now, I have a man in my life that I love, family and friends that are always here for me, my job which I love and have dedicated myself too, and  saying all of this even in my head makes me think of every story that I have read growing up where everything seems to be going great for the protagonist but it is the calm before the storm because who knows what I around the corner just waiting.
