Quinn's POV

"Not this morning, but Amara and I are going on a double date with Emery and Caily tonight." Anthony says with a smile on his face, "Alexa and I have a gig tonight at Spitfire." Chris says without looking up from the piece of paper in front of him which tells me he is in the zone of writing what I am sure will another great song. "All those plans sound boring, but luckily Clay knows me well enough to know I like to have fun, which is why Clay and I are going to The Atlantic Iris casino and resort." Tiffany says in a cheerful voice as all of them turn their attention to me.

"What about you Quinn? Any plans?" Emery asks and I just shrug my shoulders, "Not really, I am making fudge with Etta after work today and then tonight Brenton and I have a double date with one of his buddies and his girlfriend." A look of a light bulb going off appears on the face of Anthony and he starts digging into the pockets of his jeans, "I think it will be nice to meet his brothers from the Marines." Chris says looking up at me for a second before going back to his paper.

"By the way Quinn, I have something for you." Anthony says pulling a folded-up piece of paper out of his pocket, "Should I be worried?" I joke but Anthony rolls his eyes and laugh before handing the paper to me. "What is this?" I unfold the paper to see that it is some kind of flyer, "Country bonfire, Saturday January 16th starting at 7pm, invitation only." I read the flyer that also has an address on it where this event is taking place, "Anthony, isn't this your address on the flyer?" Anthony nods his head with a prideful smile on his face,

"I am having a huge blowout party at my house, invites are twenty dollars apiece." I look at him unsure if Anthony really thought this party idea out all the way, "You are throwing a bonfire party at your house, in the middle of winter?" I make sure to say the last part slowly hoping Anthony caught on to what I am trying to tell him. "Yeah, but it is not like we here in Nevada have winters like everyone else." I incline my head forgetting that winter here is basically like fall.

"Who is already on this guest list?" I ask sitting on Tiffany's lap. "Myself, Amara, Emery, Caily, Tiffany, Clay, Reed Scott, Chaz Donovan, and a whole lot of other people." Hearing the last two names makes think right away about the events that happened at the Halloween party earlier this year. "What about you Chris?" I ask causing Chris to look up from his paper,

"I am not sure if I need to work or not, but if I don't then you can expect me and Alexa to be there." Chris smiles before going back to writing. "How about it Quinn? Two tickets for Brenton and you?" Anthony asks with a puppy dog look on his face, "Okay you win, I will talk to Brenton about it and I will get back to you." Anthony smiles before turning his attention to his phone. "Speaking of Brenton, we all have been wondering about when he is going to propose." Tiffany says playing with my hair,

"I couldn't tell you, but I can't help but think that now since he is back for good a part me is just waiting." Tiffany gives me a small smile back I can also see the sympathy in her eyes, "You two have been together for a couple of years now, and like you said with him home he can't use the Marine as an excuse anymore." I turn to look at Tiffany,

"He never used it as an excuse Tiff, he was out of the country and proposing to me either over the phone or right before he took off would make me feel a little cheated." Tiffany sighs and goes back to braiding my curls, "I think popping the question at the airport right before he took off would be romantic and a great story to tell your kids someday." I roll my eyes but I can't help but think of marriage and kids.

"This coming from the girl that who not only has already bought her own engagement ring but also has already planned out her wedding to the last detail." Emery says shifting his weight on the counter, "You bought your ring? Call me old school but I could have sworn that the guy was supposed to do that." Tiffany waves me comment off,

"I love Clay don't get me wrong, but the only person a girl can count on to pick the prefect ring is herself." Tiffany shakes her head and a little part of me agrees with her. "Can we please stop all this wedding talk when there is no wedding to talk about." Chris grumbles letting out a frustrated sigh, "Does anyone know how Nikki is doing?" I ask getting a bizarre look from all my friends,

"After everything that psycho did, you honestly care about her?" I nod my head very genuine, because if it wasn't Nikki I would have never found out the truth about Nick and everything. "She is still a person and that baby she is caring isn't to blame." Tiffany scoffs and doesn't say anything. "All I have heard is that the baby is doing fine, but as for the relationship between Nikki and Nick, that is a different story." I try to hide my curiosity upon hearing this from Emery,

"I am telling you all right now something isn't adding up with Nikki's pregnancy." I ignore Tiffany only because I know that Nikki and she haven't gotten along since elementary school. "Alright, 5 minutes till opening!" Thomas yells as Emery grabs his apron from behind the counter before jumping off it, and I go into the back saying hello to Tyler while grabbing my apron and put it on ready to start working.
