Early. It was too early to be awake and Natalya was sure of it, but Lando woke her up. His fingers raked through her hair, the calloused tips glided over her throat and his lips left gentle yet rough kisses on the curve of her neck. "My jet is ready. I have to leave for Moscow, but I'm kind enough to stop in Madrid for you". Lando's voice hummed in her ear, now pulling her also from her sleepy state. "Amazingly kind, did you think of starting a charity already?". Natalya replied, pushing him away and it caused him to chuckle. He pulled the sheets from her body and she looked at him. Lando was already dressed. This time he wore a grey suit with a black button-up and he looked incredibly. Especially in the morning light that came through the curtains. It was half past six and the sun didn't even rise fully yet. "Breakfast is ready. Don't make it long". Lando said, his tone serious and she just nodded, watching him move out of his bedroom. Natalya washed her face in the bathroom and brushed her teeth before gathering her stuff and pushing it back in her suitcase.
She slipped into some leggings and a sweater, not in the mood to dress up nicely or wear some jeans. She lazily tied her hair up and left her suitcase at the bottom of the stairs when she made her way to the kitchen. Lando was already seated there with a cup of coffee in his hands, his phone flat on the marble counter and it looked like he was reading something. "I arranged with Carlos that your guard will pick you up from the airport". Lando spoke up and the screen of his phone turned black again. "Alright". Natalya hummed, reaching for the cup of coffee that was ready for her. "Thank you". She added. "I liked this weekend". She said, shifting in her seat to cross her legs. "Me too, I enjoyed it". Lando responded. "You do know that I expect you to invite me to your place now, right?". He asked, a grin curling his lips and she looked up at him over her cup of coffee. "I'll think about it". Natalya mused, but both of them knew they wanted to see each other again. Lando looked at her while she swiped her spoon over the bottom of the bowl, some wavy strands of her hair had fallen out of her bun that was decorated with a scrunchie.
She looks cute and comfortable, especially here in his kitchen and he liked the domestic look of it. Her face was bare from any makeup and she hadn't done any effort to clear up the love bites he had bitten into her skin yesterday either. The slightly lavender marks were peaking above the neckline of her loose sweater and the sight of it caused warmth to blossom into his chest. "I hope you have some time to discover Moscow". Natalya spoke up again. "The city is beautiful". She explained. "I hope I do. Do you want a postcard from Moscow?". Lando smiled, one of his eyebrows cocking upwards. "Sure". She chuckled. "Sir?". Natalya looked over her shoulder at the guard who stood in the doorway, his hands folded behind his back. "Everything is arranged for the way to the airport". He said. Lando nodded contently. "Thank you". He spoke and he put his cup down. He got up from his chair and he put his phone in his pocket. Natalya watched as he took his jacket that matched his slacks, shoving his arms through the sleeves before he pulled it over his chest and closed a single button.
"It's time to leave, darling". Lando said. She gnawed on her bottom lip and she remained seated for a couple seconds before she stood up as well. George already lifted her suitcase up and she took her bag to swing it over her shoulder. Lando briefly walked into his office and she leaned against the doorway while he opened one of the drawers of his desk, getting a sleek, black gun out of it. She watched his fingers swiftly checking if its magazine was full and if everything worked properly. Lando put it in the inside of his jacket and he looked down at her as he approached her. His fingertips glided under her chin, his nose brushed against hers and she could feel the softness of his lips, but they didn't fully touch hers before he walked out. Natalya swallowed and followed his men outside, a couple of cars were ready and she hopped into the backseat of the Land Rover Lando got in as well. With the impressive line of black cars following each other, they set course to the airport. She didn't really get why he would want to fly to Madrid with her first.
