In the meetings before Lando and his crew were traveling to Moscow, Lando had decided that they would fly to the Russian capital city at night, which would hopefully give them a safe and sound arrival. Natalya had been training with Mick again, and the atmosphere between the two was good, relaxed, and they had fun. Natalya felt more fit after each training passed, feeling her body changing and the rhythm of her days getting smoother, more balanced. Her body tightened, she got more muscular and she felt good in her own body, even more than she did before. To Lando, she looked gorgeous as ever. He was content with her progress, and he admired that he could include her in their strategical meetings. And he fell in love with her a little more each time she made a great comment or said something that brought new insights to their mission.
The goal of traveling to Moscow, was keeping the oil base and the map of the underground pipes that ran through Russia and Ukraine, safe and secret from the other crews. The men of his partner's crew, Vitaly Petrov's men, had been out to patrol the borders and they kept in touch with some insiders of the Russian military, which is how they got to know that some of the Spanish crew had set foot in other, large cities already, such as Saint Petersburg and Kiev, to slowly move towards Moscow. It was smart to surround Moscow like that, but Lando's partners weren't spreading or splitting up. The heart of their society and base would be heavily protected, which was something they all agreed on. Their rivals could try to get close, but they weren't stopping them on the way. Lando overlooked the plan while he was seated behind his desk, in his right hand a glass of liquor.
Their jet was taking off at two in the night, and they had went to bed a couple hours ago to get some sleep in, but he hadn't be able to fall asleep. His eyes glided over the sketch that was made, the outline of it all, the city map with all checkpoints of his crew. "Everything okay?" Lando looked up, seeing Natalya appear in the doorway. She was wearing one of his shirts, his favorite look on her. His eyes glided over her appearance, drinking in the way his shirt fell onto her thighs, the opened buttons causing the material to fall onto the swell of her breasts. "It's fine. I just couldn't sleep," Lando replied, offering her a gentle smile. "Hmm, I've been dozing off every now and then as well, not really able to find sleep," Natalya said, pushing herself off the door and moving towards him. Lando shoved his chair a little further back, making room for her to sit on his lap behind his desk.
She sat down on one of his thighs, his arm curling around her waist and one of her arms moved over his shoulder, her fingers finding the curls at the back of his head. "Are you worried?" Natalya asked, looking at the papers in front of him, which were lit up by the lamp that stood on the corner of his desk. "Just the usual operational worries," Lando mumbled, his fingers moving over the bare skin of her thigh. "Then what are you doing here?" Natalya chuckled, which made him laugh a little. "I didn't want to wake you with my tossing and turning," Lando admitted, his arms curling a little tighter around her. "We're leaving in two hours, let's just stay awake," Natalya said, and Lando agreed. One of his hands reached up to push some of her hair out of her face, and her eyes directed to him. "Are you scared?" Lando asked. She shook her head. "At the moment I'm not. Maybe when we get to Moscow and the bloodshed really starts. But I trust you blindly," Natalya said.
The corners of his mouth twitched upwards at her words, and he nodded along. "Would you be able to face Carlos?" He asked next, knowing that there would be a moment where the old colleagues would see each other again. "A second before I put a bullet between his eyes, yes," Natalya said. Lando chuckled, his fingers playing with the long, blonde strands of her hair. "Even if you feel frozen in that moment, it's okay, alright? We have the backup of three crews behind us and you won't be alone or unprotected at any second," Lando secured her, and Natalya nodded, it gave her a safe feeling. "There were still some pizza left overs in the kitchen, care to snack on them with me?" Natalya asked, and his head briefly lulled back with laughter. Her eyes sparkled with amusement, watching her boyfriend's eyes wrinkle, the rich sound of his laugh vibrating through his chest she was leaned against.
